Waterfront Property at Kootenay Lake, beside a public beach, campground and marina/boat launch!

Our property is suitable for tent and RV campers with a maximum length of 36ft.

Riondel beach is located right by the property where majestic old-growth cedars tower over lush ferns and many trails. This beautiful pebble beach is ideal for families and offers fabulous views north over the lake of the Selkirk Mountains mountains to the West and Purcells to the East.

Amenities Proximities: 20-30 minute drive to Crawford Bay for grocery, gas, banking, artisan shops, garden store, playground tennis/basketball court and laundromat, with another 10 past that to Gray Creek Hardware store (and fishing/RV/camping supplies).

We are 10km from Kootenay Bay (coffee shop and ferry); Just over an hour North of Creston and just over an hour travel to Nelson or Kaslo - 35min ferry+35 min drive to Nelson or ~15 min the other direction to Ainsworth Hot springs and another ~15 to Kaslo).

There are kayaks and canoes available for guest use, including paddles/oars but not the requisite life jackets (mandatory).

You have access to a covered deck but the fire pit and outdoor wood stove are off-limits due to fire bans.

A quiet, low traffic road divides the beach area from the rest of the property, so depending on your site location you may or may not require crossing that road to use the small (~15*6ft) guest shower/washroom (summer use only; no towels provided).

Bring what you need and take only what you bring!

Nice place to camp just steps back from public beach. Bathroom is across the road and with a (cold) shower, lots of kayaks, canoes and floaties to use. Right next to marina so a bit less private, but otherwise beautiful site. Host’s family lives just up the road and met us at the campsite shortly after we arrived.
