Secluded, yet accessible, this unique location takes you back in time on the off-grid homestead, surrounded by crown forest, creeks and nearby lakes. Come enjoy our artesian spring water and fresh mountain air. Lose yourself in the quiet; reflect with only the breeze in the leaves, and animals both wild and domestic, as company. Take a hike through the forest, or climb the rocky outcropping behind the homestead for a scenic view of the lakes and mountains beyond.Travel across the free inland ferry to come pitch a tent on any of our designated areas around the property, or bring your travel trailer/RV to one of our flat spots on the hillside homestead.
If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 50ft in length and the site is flat. No hookups are available at this time.
Our campsite is available all year round and a 4WD vehicle is recommend to access the site (if you have questions please send me a message prior to booking).
There is no electricity. Wifi works in certain areas.
Choose between ultra- private, secluded meadows nestled in a mixed forest or on top of a lofty rock bluff with an incredible view, or near the main house at the homestead with easier access to wifi service.
Take your bikes to the nearby trails and gravel roads, or up to the lookout. It is recommended that vehicles have sufficient ground clearance for off-highway/ gravel road driving. Great fishing lakes within minutes drive. Excellent hiking and exploring. Horse campers are also very welcome, as there are great trails to ride in the area. Respectful use of ATVs allowed on property, with access to great trail riding.
Drinking water is available at the main house, directly from the artesian spring. Outhouse facilities are available. Locations range from close to the house, with WiFi access, to fully private and secluded with no amenities.
Other activities nearby include Red Hills Provincial Park just minutes past our driveway on the only access road. Uncha Lake, Binta Lake, and Takysie Lake are all within a few kilometres for boating, fishing and swimming. Incredible views and fresh mountain breeze, surrounded by only the forest, and wildlife. Excellent wildberry picking and foraging for edibles directly from nature.
