The Messy Owl

The beautiful Cariboo countryside, located in the unceded territories of the Xatśūll First Nations, is a natural haven for outdoor activities. These activities include boating, river rafting, kayaking, fishing, hunting, quadding, hiking, snowshoeing, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.

We are open during the summer, spring, and fall months. We are an RV-only campsite. The campsites are flat and can accommodate vehicles up to 25ft in length. Electrical, water and sewage hookups are all available. The RV sites are located side-by-side in a set of three and are within walking distance to the house and cafe. It is crowded with beautiful tall poplars and there are also a lot of natural berries and wildlife.

Potable water is accessible for guests, and if requested, we can loan pots and pans.

We are seated alongside an arm of the Quesnel River and backed up into a forest. We have a sprawling lawn and are close to downtown.

Likely is the town we reside in, and Williams Lake is the largest town nearby, and it is about an hour's drive. Please note, there is little to no service outside of Williams Lake.

This delightful retreat will draw you in with its warm rustic chic vibes, and stay your attention with the vivid wildlife and peaceful atmosphere. Come, sidle up to a warm fireside conversation, and aromatic, panoramic views, year-round.

In our on-site cafe, we have fresh coffee and pastries, with local wares for sale, too!
