The Sunset Knoll site is absolutely beautiful! The views are amazing and the water was clear and warm end of July. The hosts were super friendly and very inviting, we were able to use their canoe and paddle boat... and enjoyed the sunsets which are stunning! Would absolutely recommend!! Thank you Katie and Melissa for sharing your piece of heaven with us :)
One word of caution about the gravel road leading to the site, if you don't have a 4x4 or a truck it can be quite difficult to navigate, you'll have to go very slow... but other than that it's worth coming .
Beautiful lake and views
I tent camped with a few friends at "the Lookout" spot and had so much fun! The paddle boat and 2 docks were very accessible and the lake was a great swimming temperature. There were 2 chairs and a small table available on site. The outhouse was very nicely made as well, no bugs in there! The mosquitoes were what you would except in the evenings but during other times of the day they were fine. Would highly recommend 😄
Katie and Melissa have created a beautiful camping paradise! The sites are well maintained and have ample space and breathtaking views.
The water is beautiful and calm and the lake is typically quiet! The added dock with nice table and umbrella was an awesome addition.
For anyone who likes to watch sunsets- Big Bar Lake provided a breathtaking and unique sunset every night. It was great getting to use the peddle boat and canoe and there was never an issue sharing with the two other parties.
We highly recommend this camping experience and will be retuning!
One of the best camping spot
This was my very first camping trip with Hipcampers and this property is very beautiful for camping. I loved the spot and the privacy in this place. It was worth to spend the money and stay at this beautiful place. Also the host is very nice and guided me on how to reach the location in a very detailed manner. She also provided a paddle boat and life jacket to enjoy the lake. The sunset was one of the best sunset in my life. I would recommend this place to everyone and I’ll be visiting here again.
