This is the first stay we have completed on our 160 acre Indigenous owned land.

The wall tent is 320 sqft inside with a 200 sqft covered patio. The tents were made by a small business called Yukon Tents. They are father and son operated and the tents were entirely sewn by hand!

Inside the tent you will find a queen sized log bed. Which was hand built by my grandpa when I was a kid.

There is a 3 seater couch, area rug, 4 foot round bean bag chair, a dresser and wood stove. We wanted to keep these quite spacious so you can still have plenty of room to move around and make yourself at home.

For your all your cooking needs we have a communal outdoor kitchen. It includes a full size bbq, small bbq, large griddle, blender, 3 burners for pots and pans, two fridges, small freezer, and running water to clean all your dishes. There is also a big sectional couch to hang out on and table and chairs for eating.

We also have solar power in the common area to charge anything you bring.

On the patio you will find a 4 seating wicker table and chair set. Along with an outdoor love seat and propane fire pit that's useable all year round. We designed and built the fire pit ourselves.

The washroom is about 50 feet from the tent and is outfitted with an incineration toilet. It's the top of the line toilet and the most sanitary off grid method. Yes it burns everything to ash!

To the side of the tent your private spa area awaits you. It includes a giant wine barrel we converted into a wood burning sauna and an out door tub and shower.

All the wood you see under the tub and holding up the shower was timber framed by us with wood from our own land.

From the private spa and patio you have amazing views of our mountain top.

If you feel up to it you can head up tot he top for a sunrise or sunset hike. It's 1km total from your tent to the peak and on average takes people around 30-40 minutes to get to the top.

You're more than welcome to bring your bikes, e bikes, and any other lawn games and things you'd like to do.

Outside of our land the town and surrounding areas provide many activities for you to do.

You can float the kettle river, check out the farmers market on Saturday, Stop by the post office for ice cream, run or bike the kettle valley trail, stop by the trading post for some great coffee and snacks, or head a little further out and hit wine country.

My brother and I will be on site living most of the time as well as working around the land. This is an almost operating farm.

Our goal with this land is to create a place that embodies the things that we've found to truly make us happy and allow a better lives for ourselves.

Like getting back to nature, living off the land, practicing yoga, meditation, and breathe work. Eating whole real foods. Exercising and moving your body. Nourishing yourself. And having a space to allow for community and connection.

We left our businesses and the "normal" lives we had owning homes and buying things we thought would change the way we felt about ourselves.

But as we spent more time diving into ourselves, business, coaches, retreats, and a ton of other holistic practices.

We realized it was time for a big change.

We now want to be able to offer experiences sharing everything we've learned about all these things and have people come try new ways of life.

When you stay with us the cool part is, you can actually see where your money is going and meet the people creating the space. Every penny we make is going right back into this land.

This isn't some fancy resort owned by a huge hotel chain. Although we do take serious pride in our work and go above and beyond when building.

To get to us you do have to drive about 12km up a government maintained dirt road. everyone who has come says the road is in way better shape than they thought it would be. My brother drives his honda civic up and down it everyday with no issues.

If you have any questions about coming to stay with us please don't hesitate to reach out and ask!

We're excited to host you!

We absolutely loved our weekend with Shelby and Jamie! They took ultimate care of us making sure our first weekend away from our son was relaxing, enjoyable and filled with fantastic food. From the kick ass digs, sauna, cold plunge, charcuterie, great conversation with inspiring individuals all created by their hard work and beautiful intentions for the Azhen Sanctuary!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for something different, magical and no shortage of fun! We will be back and telling all of our friends. These boys are next level, I can’t wait for you to meet them and their handcrafted property 😁
