Eagle River Métis Fishing Lodge

Welcome to Eagle River Métis Fishing Lodge & RV Park. We currently offer 15 Boondocking (Dry) Sites in total which consist of 8 RV Parking and 7 Walk-In Tent sites. We offer one portable washroom for our guests. Our site is walking distance to most amenities.

Eagle River Metis Fishing Lodge and RV Park sits on over 80 acres of mature trees ranging from 60-90 meters high. The land is adjacent to the Squamish river on the west boundary  line and adjacent to the east branch of the Squamish river on the north and east boundary lines which is called Judd Slough due to the dyke that bisects the property from north to south. The property is located where the Cheakamus River intersects the Squamish river and offers some of the best salmon fishing and located only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

We are hoping to have the Eagle River Fishing Lodge finished by September 1, 2020 which will consist of Historical and Cultural wall tents of the Metis to house individuals or groups for fishing or just relaxing around the fires with uninhibited access to the Squamish river.

The Squamish area is home to an abundance of wildlife including 3500 bald eagles, considered to be one of the highest concentration of bald eagles in North America.  The main attraction for the bald eagles are the three different salmon species in the river which provides some of the best fishing along the pacific coast line.  Consistent with the land, there are an abundance of other birds making it a prime location for birdwatchers. Amongst the forest are cougars, black bear, grizzly - it's a true wilderness retreat within the confines of the City of Squamish.
