This is our second time coming up to Stump Lake and we loved it just as much this time around. It's so nice to get back to nature and let modern conveniences take a back seat for awhile. Would definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to get away, enjoy nature and just leave it all behind for a few days:)

Stump Lake Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay here, the cabin shows smaller in pictures than it actually is. We were surprised at how spacious is was. It was easy to find. The wood stove kept us warm and the fact that there is power is really nice. The pond in the back is also really nice but can be a little weedy. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back again. Big thanks to our host Daner!

I enjoyed camping at Daiemon's Stump Lake Cabin with a group of 8 adults. The living area has enough space for two double-sized air mattresses. The property is private and peaceful. Off-grid electricity is limited, but not a problem for those who wish to spend most of their time outdoors. The group enjoyed cooking over the firepit, relaxing by the lake, observing the work of the beavers, and using the sauna. Overall the cabin site is very suitable for those who wish to go camping and also have the luxuries that a rustic cabin provides.

What really sets Daiemon’s HipCamp apart from most is Daiemon himself! With my new adventure motorcycle, I got myself into a little bit of bad situation. He was right there to help and made everything better. The site is very secluded and quiet. He delivered firewood and water for a nominal fee and made everything easy. The outhouse is a very short walk away. We talked about ways to improve the guest experience and I can understand why campers come back. I will!

My friends and I loved camping in Daiemon's land, he was very attentive and kind at all times. His land is just amazing, it has beautiful views, it also has a big pond where we enjoyed rowing a boat.
We would definitely go back!

Did an overnight motorcycle trip and camped on Daimon’s land
We had a great night and Daimon was a gracious host
Good supply of firewood for $10
The sites are way back in the bush so lots of quiet and the stars are amazing
The water at the back of the sites is a bit swampy so swimming is a bust and the bugs maybe nasty certain times of the year
Overall it was a great experience and I would camp there again
With all the plans for the land it will
only get better in time

The camp site was in an amazing location with the views of the lake . Daner is a phenomenal host who is always ready to help and make sure that all the campers are having a good time. It was one my best camping experience . I’ll go back in a heartbeat

My husband, I and two of our friends spent a relaxed weekend at Stump Lake Cabin. We loved the raw and unspoilt setting of the property and enjoyed listening to the frogs, ducks, and birds. It rustic feeling of the cabin really makes you feel like you have stepped back in time and helps you slow down and disconnect. The cabin was spacious and can easily accommodate 4/5 people. The kitchen was well-equipped, which prompted us to make a big dinner for ourselves which we enjoyed from the screened-in porch, safe from the bugs. The other campsites/cabin on the property is far away from each other, so we had complete privacy in the cabin's backyards, leading on to the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the lake, and setting up a campfire to enjoy the evening. Daiemon and his son were really sweet and greeted us on arrival, showed us around the property and even foraged some wild flowers for us!

Material-wise I would really like a toaster, microwave and adequate plates and cutlery. We loved the ruggedness and trails to explore. The host was great, helpful and personable.

We had a great time staying in the cabin, a nice place to recharge in the middle of the woods. Daner met us at the gate and took us back to the cabin and gave us a quick tour and a little history about the cabin and area. Hiking the trails with all the fall colours was beautiful. We will definitely be heading back again for a few nights.

We really enjoyed our stay at Miracle Mile Nature Camp. We camped at site 1 and enjoyed the feeling of isolation while being close to amenities. The washroom & common area was only a short walk away. Daiemon was welcoming and super helpful, meeting us at the gate to take us to our site. The camp is a short drive to many local attractions. I would stay here again.

My family and i thoroughly enjoyed our visit to stump lake. Plenty of room for the seven of us inside and out. There was a boat provided to paddle through stump lake, plenty of room to play games outdoors and at night we were able to hang out around the firepit. It even rained a few times during our stay and we were still content hanging out in the screened porch listening to the rain hit the metal roof. Definitely recomend this place to unplug, unwind and spend time with your people.

Not only was the property clean, quiet and remote the family who owns the place where fabulous. They both us fresh maple surp and blueberries from their land. Plenty of space to explore and kid friendly.

Stump Lake Cabin
Stump Lake Cabin was a great getaway off grid spot. We were greeted at the entrance by our host, Daiemon and he was very nice and friendly. Good communication prior to our booking so ask away all your questions. The cabin is clean, cozy and relaxing. It features few basic utilities such as hot water and electricity powered by green energy. Also has a bunch of kitchen supplies for cooking and eating. The back of the cabin faces the stump lake and has a boat you can use, a big table and a firepit. There was also a sauna! We were able to get 2 bars of LTE near the lake. Overall, we had a lovely weekend.

The host was very welcoming and helpful! He did a full walk through with us and made sure we were comfortable. The cabin was well equipped, maintained, and very clean. Would definitely go back and would recommend highly.

This place is very relaxing, spacious and private and brand new sauna was an amazing surprise! We were a big group who stayed for 4 nights and there was always something different to do every day.
Thanking our host for the eggs, cookies, flowers, the fruit basket, the fishing poles and worms, firewood, showing us the beach, the stage, the view and a great tour of the property. Definitely coming back here again!
