First and foremost, the place is very nice and very well indicated in the description. The bath-and-toilet cabin is very well maintained and clean, and our hosts were very welcoming and helpful!

Loved this site! Nestled in the beautiful grassland/prairie of California this was an excellent place to come after staying in Yosemite. The hot shower gave us LIFE after our day spent hiking. We enjoyed a game of horseshoe & I read our books in the hammock. Thankful for the relaxing evening.

Loved the place and William was a great host. Fire ban meant we couldn’t use the firepit and we always came back too late at night to think about doing a bbq but that was fine. The restrooms and shower were in great condition and such a plus in the morning!

This camp is a gem! We stayed 3 nights in two sites with a 35 ft RV and a camper van. The sites had everything we needed: plenty of space, picnic table with umbrella, a hammock and potable water. The shower and bathroom were sparkling clean and conveniently located. There was a convenient sink for dishwashing outside the bathroom The kind and helpful host was very responsive to our questions before and during our trip. He gave us a hand written note with recommendations for our visit to the area. The location is peaceful and located about 45- 55 minutes from the South gate of Yosemite. They also have an air conditioned cabin in addition to the campsites. So pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend!

Circle W 5 is a remote but beautiful property with an easy access road and three nice spots side by side. The owners have built a fantastic bathroom/shower, each spot has a grill, a picnic table, a hammock, and was outstandingly clean overall. The owners checked in on us the next morning. The only criticism would be near nonstop barking, which started in the evening and didn't stop until at least 2am. We saw coyotes in the area on the way there, it seemed likely they were the neighbor's dogs barking, maybe at the coyotes. The end result was a pretty noisy night not very conducive sleep.

This place has been incredible enough we booked a second night! It has just the right outdoor feel for a quick one nighter on the way to Yosemite yet provides some great comforts like a shower or an ultra clean bathroom. Worth staying anytime!

William’s property was a true gem. We planned to go to Yosemite and ended up going twice during the weekend. Although it was a bit of a drive from the location (1 hour and half into Yosemite Valley leaving at 6am one day, and two hours leaving in the afternoon the other) the property made it all worthwhile since it was so enjoyable and relaxing. We also spent a few hours in Bass Lake which was about 40 minutes away.
We were greeted upon arrival by William himself. We reached out twice for assistance and he immediately stopped by the cabin both times. He even graciously provided us bug spray for the weekend when we forgot to bring some.
The property it self was very well maintained. Our cabin was clean and cozy. Just a few steps you have a pristine bathroom with hot showers, which was nice after spending full days in Yosemite. At the hours we weren’t at the park, we spent grilling and stargazing during the night. We even made friends with the near by campers. You still had the full camping experience all while having the amenities of a hotel. “Glamping” at it’s finest.
Would definitely return to William’s cabin, even to spend a weekend getaway without the intention of visiting Yosemite.

Wonderfull stay! Provided grill , hammock, table in the large , peaceful area and clean restroom , hot shower ! In short, camping in the comfort of a hotel! 45 min. to Yosemite entrance and 45 min. to Yosemite Valley Lodge (in total about 90 min. drive). I recommend getting direction from host, navigation is not correct.

We had an amazing camping experience at Circle W5 and William was the most wonderful host. The bathroom facilities were always kept immaculate and the camping spot had plenty of room. During our stay we headed to Bass Lake to swim and stay cool. We also were only a short drive to Yosemite National Park where we explored and hung out on the river to swim and fly fish. Then back to Circle W5 to make dinner and relax in the hammock under the start filled sky. We are already talking about returning to this hidden gem! And if you decide to visit Yosemite, don't forget to make reservations. Thank you Circle W5 for making this an incredible trip. We will definitely be back!

From the very moment, I knew this site would be spectacular. What a wonderful place, indeed, every bit as good. The host made us feel welcome, not just by by leaving the cabin lights and fan on for us, but more so for their genuine country side details they share with guests , well kept, thoughtfully laid out and best of all a perfect balance of comfort, nature, and solitude that makes it a real world class retreat. My family was delighted, and extremely pleased to have this positive experience even though we could not get a reservation in time to enter Yosemite park, there were plenty of other options nearby such as Bass Lake, and Sugar Pines RR. A magnificent, relaxing cabin, with it's own crossing bridge, tin roofed porch deck and wooden Adirondack chairs perfect for morning coffee, wine or afternoons leading up to a gorgeous sunset or starry chatty night.
We plan on returning to Yosemite soon, it's location in Coarsegold is fantastic, more than ideal, and practically a quick drive to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. All H-campers out there, this is a real deal. You may even see deer, quail and hear other wildlife along with a little froggy.

So good I've been telling my friends. We will be back. William the host is very accomodating and just the nicest host ever. He rolls up on his John Deere green atv and greets you the second you pull into his property and makes sure you feel welcome. If you're considering booking, just do it.

Great campsites, horse shoes pit with shoes, fantastic bathroom and shower room, and very nice people. They met us there, chatted us up for a couple of minutes and we never saw them again. They took out the trash and restocked the bathroom while we were gone at bass lake. Once the wood fire restrictions are removed I believe you can get wood from their large shed that they have there, I don't know if you need to pay for it or not but it is nice to see that it is on site. They provide a charcoal grill, hammock, and a fire pit for when the fire restrictions are removed. The campsites are really nice, there's only three of them and there is a cabin that I believe you can rent from them. I highly recommend this place, we will be staying here again.

This site is magical, it's very cozy and you feel better than in a hotel! Bathroom is impeccable, showers and toilet, everything is pretty well thought. All 3 sites are close to the bathroom, all of them have their own table to eat, fire pit and hammock. William is very nice. Site is One hour away from one of the entrance of Yosemite and then from the entrance to Yosemite Valley is like 45 to 60 min. Come prepare to Drive, for these time of the year when sunset is late is very worthy to stay here. You can hike all day long and even when is a long drive, you can get to the camp with the daylight.

William's cabin is simply magnificent. True to the photos. We spent 3 fantastic and very relaxing days.
We took advantage of all the facilities made available to us by William. (Firepit and BBQ)
We spent 1 day in Yosemite (35 min from mariposa grove) and the other two at the edge of the lake (bass lake) and to travel the beautiful roads around.
We loved our stay and will most likely be back

Bills place was the perfect campsite for our trip to Yosemite.
It was great to have a quiet, peaceful place to unwind after busy days in the park. My wife loved the bath house, my kids loved the wildlife and I really enjoyed the whole place. Bill could not have been a nicer more accommodating host. I highly recommend him and his campsite to anyone venturing thru the area.

This place was a gem, and I'm glad I found it. I loved staying out here while I was exploring Yosemite National Park for the first time. Quiet, with everything I needed nearby. It's a luxury to have a flushing toilet and hot/cold water available! I spent a good amount of time just lounging in the hammock. Wish I could have stayed another day!

Fantastic site! Beautiful space, clean bathrooms, nice shower, fire pit, and stars! What more could you ask for? Large drive up campsite, with firewood to buy on site (if you don’t remember to bring your own). We brought our dog and he loved running around this open space :)
Downsides: None - William is an excellent host and very responsive. Decent distance to Yosemite, with plenty of activities nearby.
PS if you are planning a visit to Yosemite, this is the place to be!!
PPS Don’t forget to book that Yosemite entrance reservation at least a month in advance!!

Awesome place! Easy to find, great communication. Bathroom AND shower were both clean, easy to get to, and hot water! We left all of our belongings in hopes of getting our site again - unfortunately it was booked that night but we had already gone hours away to hike- and with permission William moved us to another site so every family was happy. 12/10 would recommend. Conveniently close to a lot as well- gas, hiking, dinner, shopping, groceries, coffee you name it

Such a great weekend! William made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We forgot propane and he was so sweet and let us have an extra he had. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have more of a relaxing camp weekend. The kitchen sink was such a great perk.
