Fayetteville is home many restaurants and pubs. With Dickon Street just 20 minutes away, you may choose to enjoy it's night life before settling in to camp.
Feel free to hike the property on a mowed nature trail or venture into the forest. Expect abundant wildlife including many varieties of birds, coyotes, deer, fox, and shy black bear.
The White River winds through the mountains and several swimming holes can be found along it's banks or bring a kayak take the day to float from nearby access points along the river. Wilson Lake Park has easy access via Wilson Hollow Road just 4 miles from the house. Devil's Den State Park offers multiple hiking trails and is a beautiful 33 minute drive south.
Our sites are as follows:
Site 1: Large near level clearing surrounded by trees with parking available at the site. This site is perfect for larger groups or those with mobility challenges. Small travel campers can park in meadow just outside of campsite. You will find a fire pit, picnic table, grill, 5 gallons of water, and hammock waiting for you when you arrive.
Site 2: Located in lower meadow under the Sycamore tree. Very quiet and private. We recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle that has adequate clearance; pick-ups and SUVs should have no trouble. This site has a great view of the meadow while being surrounded by forest on three sides. This is a sloped site with picnic table, tent pad, fire pit, 5 gallons of water, and hammock provided.
Site 3: Deep in the woods approximately 450ft from the main drive site 3 is a walk in site. The path to site three is through the forest via a cleared path. Natural native stones make this short hike a bit rugged but "Hey!", that's part of the adventure, right? We have found that using a wagon for your gear makes things a lot easier. You may also book help in "Extras" if you would like for us to meet you and haul out your gear with our side-by-side. Picnic table, fire pit, 5 gallons of water, and a hammock are set up prior to your arrival. Large wooded area affords many cool places to set up your tent. This site is ideal for hammock camping.
Abundant dead wood is easily foraged. We encourage it's use as part of our effort to reforest property after many mature trees were dozed by previous owners.
If you run out of water you are welcome to fill your water jug at the house.
All sites have hammock hardware installed. Please use tow straps and avoid damage to trees if you wish to hang your hammock elsewhere on the property.
Mike and I are continually amazed by the scenic views and dynamic weather on the mountain. We welcome you to come and enjoy the beautiful Ozark Mountains and allow us to share our little slice of heaven with you.

Places to see near Wallin Ridge
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Kimberly and her husband were so kind and accommodating! They provided wonderful hospitality and were great hosts. In addition, the location was perfect and beautiful. Will definitely book again and recommend to others!
Beautiful property, wonderful host
Wallin Ridge Farm is a beautiful property and Kimberly is a wonderful host! We will absolutely return in the future. She greeted us with fresh-baked cookies and there was tons of fire wood and water provided. We camped in heavy rains and Kimberly checked in on us and offered to loan us anything we might have needed. The property is beautiful and our three kiddos were content to spend hours exploring and playing in the woods. Highly, highly recommend!!
Special place in many ways
Beautiful spot in the hills. When your host works diligently to make sure your camping experience is what you are looking for in a secluded spot along a forested ridge you know you are fortunate. If you don't like fresh baked goodies when you arrive, fresh eggs from the hens, or fresh produce from the garden, you might want to rethink that. This is a special place. We loved it.
Perfect little overnight trip
What a fantastic place to stay!
First, Kim and Mike were perfect hosts. They meet at the parking area and showed us where we would be staying the night, introduced us to their sweet dogs, and gave us the run down of what to expect while camping on their land. When we arrived at campsite three, there was a picnic table, a 5 gallon jug of water, fresh baked cookies (which were delicious), a couple of fire start packages, and plenty of firewood.
Site three felt nice and secluded. Plenty of trees around, so it was felt pretty cool even though it was 85 degree when we got there. Would absolute recommend and we are planning to go back as soon as possible!
Site 1 was a large open clearing with a homemade fire pit and a picnic table. The location is about 25 minutes from Fayetteville and an hour from the heart of the Ozark National Forest, where we did a day-hike. It was quiet, and just about 300 yards away is the home of the hosts (wooded, so it's still quite private), who were gracious enough to make us scones and cookies during our stay. They have 4 friendly dogs and the host, Kimberly, was very welcoming and pleasant.
Awesome…awesome and awesome
The best camping I have ever been. Kimberly is one of the sweetest and most generous person I have ever met. Definitely camp here if your are gonna visit Ozark’s.
Great ozark mountains setup.
If you’re looking for an Ozark Mountains camping experience close to Fayetteville, this is the spot. With 3 different campsites, there’s something for everyone. We liked the secluded nature of campsite 3, but settled on campsite 2. It was a little closer to the host’s house but had a spot to drive my car down. There’s a picnic table, water cooler, fire pit, firewood, and hammock setup at each spot. Kim came out to greet us with fresh baked cookies and made sure we were settled.
A beautiful and magical retreat
What an incredible campsite. There are three in total and each site is surrounded by quiet and lush forestry. They are all a good distance away and ultra private. The site comes with a beautifully built stone fire pit and picnic table. There were even fresh eggs from the chickens and homemade salsa from the garden waiting for us. This is a hidden gem and everyone needs to stay here. You definitely won’t regret staying here. The only problem is that we had to leave the next day and couldn’t spend another night under the stars. This is the best Hipcamp we’ve stayed at by far. BOOK IT!
