Fayetteville is home many restaurants and pubs. With Dickon Street just 20 minutes away, you may choose to enjoy it's night life before settling in to camp.
Feel free to hike the property on a mowed nature trail or venture into the forest. Expect abundant wildlife including many varieties of birds, coyotes, deer, fox, and shy black bear.
The White River winds through the mountains and several swimming holes can be found along it's banks or bring a kayak take the day to float from nearby access points along the river. Wilson Lake Park has easy access via Wilson Hollow Road just 4 miles from the house. Devil's Den State Park offers multiple hiking trails and is a beautiful 33 minute drive south.
Our sites are as follows:
"Room to Share": Large near level clearing surrounded by trees with parking available at the site. This site is perfect for larger groups or those with mobility challenges. Small travel campers can park in meadow just outside of campsite. You will find a fire pit, picnic table, grill, 5 gallons of water, and hammock waiting for you when you arrive.
"Sycamore Slope" : Located in lower meadow under the Sycamore tree. Very quiet and private. We recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle that has adequate clearance; pick-ups and SUVs should have no trouble. This site has a great view of the meadow while being surrounded by forest on three sides. This is a sloped site with picnic table, tent pad, fire pit, 5 gallons of water, and hammock provided.
"Rugged Seclusion": a short hike into the woods approximately 450ft from the main drive site 3 is a walk in site. The path to site three is through the forest via a cleared path. Natural native stones make this short hike a bit rugged but "Hey!", that's part of the adventure, right? We have found that using a wagon for your gear makes things a lot easier. You may also book help in "Extras" if you would like for us to meet you and haul out your gear with our side-by-side. Picnic table, fire pit, 5 gallons of water, and a hammock are set up prior to your arrival. Large wooded area affords many cool places to set up your tent. This site is ideal for hammock camping.
Abundant dead wood is easily foraged. We encourage it's use as part of our effort to reforest property after many mature trees were dozed after an ice storm severely damaged them in 2009.
If you run out of water you are welcome to fill your water jug at the house.
All sites have hammock hardware installed. Please use tow straps and avoid damage to trees if you wish to hang your hammock elsewhere on the property.
Mike and I are continually amazed by the scenic views and dynamic weather on the mountain. We welcome you to come and enjoy the beautiful Ozark Mountains with us.

Staying on Kimberly’s property was extremely easy and she was a communicative and accommodating host! We stayed at Sycamore Slope, which is indeed a slope so note that if you’re tent camping! The road to the site was a bit hard to traverse in our Hyundai Elantra, but no damage was done. At your own risk, though! Getting to the site is a little tricky in terms of navigation, so make sure to call Kimberly before you run into all the neighbors attempting to guide you. Lol. Overall so easy and a delight to stay at the ridge.
Everything was exactly as described. We were a little skeptical at first. It sounded too good to be true. But it wasn’t. We will definitely be returning when we can. It was an absolutely amazing experience and it was quiet and beautiful out there. Kimberly was amazing and so super sweet. And her cookies are so good! I’d recommend her more than anybody else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wallin Ridge. Great hosts provide water and home baked goodies. We loved the solitude and will be back!
Okay, we loved this place so much it’s almost hard to give it a great review because we want it to stay a secret so it won’t be overbooked in the future! Haha. But seriously, Kimberly was an incredible host and the campsite is amazing! Not far from Fayetteville and plenty of space! We have been to multiple camp sites and this is such a better experience because you don’t have all the crowds!

Thank you Josiah! We loved hosting your sweet family and friends!
Kimberly was such a great host! We loved her open forested space on the slopes. We greatly appreciated the cookies and would definitely stay here again.
Had a wonderful stay in site 2. Kim met us at the entrance and helped direct us to the campsite. There was water and wood waiting as well as a hammock set up to use. We enjoyed the privacy and large amount of space to enjoy ourselves and look forward to an opportunity to visit again.

Thank you Carson! Hope to see you again soon. Next time cookies!
KIMBERLY WAS AWESOME !!! because of weather we got their pretty late , and she offered to make get a fire ready for us upon arrival !! So flexible !! Very quiet and cutie spot !!! and directions make it easy to find :)
Beautiful spot! Nice trails at every camp spot, parking was convenient. Kim was super nice and helpful. She greeted us with homemade cookies and even let us stay a bit later to avoid getting rained on while packing up.

Thank you Kerrigan! Worst cookies I've ever made! Lol! You guys were such troopers! Please come back!
