If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
If you’re looking for a secluded location, this is your spot! Beautiful views, couple of swimming wholes and great crawfish spots( bring bacon and a trap or two) . Only recommendation is bring a good air up bed our camp site was uneven land. The owner is very nice and made sure our stay was enjoyable! If you have kids bring some activities 😂
It was a blast can’t wait to see what they do with the place ❤️
Walter is always extremely accommodating to our arrival. He will have your firewood and eggs in hand when arrive. The nature sounds at this spot and the effort to continuously improve is what keeps us coming back! Thank you, Walter!
Falling asleep to running water
The camp sites are all along the water and quite private. We were at site 6 and we could hardly see other people. We had our own swimming hole. Walter was very welcoming.
This was an awesome place for us to get away to. Has everything you need if you don't camp frequently or maybe it's your first time out. Walter is more than accommodating to his guest. We will definitely return again most likely looking for site 4 or site 6.
Me, my dog, my boyfriend, my brother, and my best friend all camped at Site 1 for Labor Day Weekend. Site 1 was the perfect size for our 2 cars and 3 tents. The river was beautiful, the sites were separated enough for privacy, and Walter was very kind and accommodating, he comes and checks on the sites each day. He offers potable water, firewood, farm fresh eggs & produce. We didn’t use it, but he also has solar powered WiFi. There’s also hardlined WiFi in a specific area of the lot if you absolutely need to access it. Lots of great hikes nearby that you will need to drive to. Each site has a picnic table and large fire pit.
Beautiful and clean place to camp. Very secluded and quiet. Creek was nice to swim in. Lots of wildlife in the area. Walter the host was very accommodating. Would come back again.
