Hidden treasure with this place 👀
What a hidden treasure in our beautiful Natural State! It starts with the well signed and marked path while getting to campsite from Mt Judea. When we arrived the host, Walter, was welcoming and friendly. He showed us the place and gave us all necessary details for our stay. Told us of the good swimming spots in the creek and things to look out for. The sites are clean and well put together, you can tell there has been work put in to make it look nice and easy to set up camp. Had some of the fresh farm eggs and they were fantastic! The silence at night combined with the dark sky made it for a breathtaking end of our day each night!
Peaceful, serene, and amazing!
This was our blended families first camping trip together and I’m so glad that we chose Valley Of Peace for our first trip. We stayed at site 1 which is right on the creek. It was flowing pretty steady and the noise of the water running was what we needed to unwind. When you get down into the property there isn’t any cell service which I thought to be a blessing so we could all focus on each other and get out of the hustle and bustle of the weekdays. The site was level and large enough to pitch a 10 person tent. Walter came down to greet us and that was very nice knowing he was there if we needed anything. We were able to get a fire going for lunch and dinner in the ring on the site. Down between site 4 and 5 (I believe) we found a slow moving/less deep area of the creek and the boys had a fun time playing in the water. Once the sun went down and the stars came out we were able to sit by the fire and just relax and be thankful that we were able to experience this beautiful land. Thank you so much for having us! We hope to be back later this summer.
Beautiful place to camp, lots of space for the kids to run and play. Walter was very accommodating and checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
The perfect weekend getaway
My friend and I absolutely loved our stay this past weekend! Walter was so attentive to anything we needed and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Very peaceful tent camping spot along a creek with plenty of places to explore around the area. Don’t look over this little hidden gem!
A beautiful stay!
What a great stay! Walter met us upon arrival and gave us the rundown. We had the valley to ourselves and absolutely loved it. Our pup enjoyed playing in the creek while we sat by the fire. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the creek flowing. The area is private and beautiful and was a great launching spot to explore Buffalo National River. We will absolutely be back. There is no cell service so be sure you download a map beforehand.
