Dana is the sweetest. Everything was great. To be honest my only complaint isnt something thats even her control. There is no shortage of ticks. That being said... there is so much this place has to offer. I'd recommend if yiu want good privacy, rent both 1&2 sites, it was fantastic
Sunny Dawn Acres was the perfect getaway. Remote, peaceful, expansive, and run by the kindest hosts, Dana and Marty, who made sure our stay was both comfortable and exciting.
Dana and Marty's beautiful Victorian house is tucked into a valley in the Ozark mountains, and the campsite is a 0.5-mile hike from their home. They were kind enough to offer a ride to the site to haul our camping gear, which we definitely recommend if you have more than a backpack. The campsite is a cleared area of the forest, with enough clearing to gaze at the clouds and the stars but still feel surrounded by the trees. The creek running through the property made for a peaceful place to rest, hike, and observe nature. We found various fungi, spotted dozens of different kinds of birds, and built a roaring fire with the firewood bundle ($5 for the hosts to bring it to your site). I would recommend this site to anyone I know, whether they were amateur or experienced campers. I always felt safe and cared for, but our privacy was also respected. It's a perfect natural escape.

Thank you Olivia and Meredith for making our first time hosting HipCamper a piece of cake! You were wonderful to host and so glad you chose our little piece of Heaven on Earth to stay for the weekend. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
This whole area was very peaceful, private, and safe. The campsites and all of the land is well cared for, and on top of the beautiful scenery, Dana and Marty were the most accommodating and considerate hosts—they made sure we had clear directions, greeted us upon arrival, and helped us get to and from the campsite upon request. It was exactly what we needed, and we can’t wait to go back!

You were wonderful and so glad you had a great time!
The campsite is located at the top of a hill, in a field surrounded by trees. It was very peaceful and remote, although there is another campsite nearby. The host was incredibly helpful and nice, helping us get our gear up to the site. The creeks on the property are gorgeous! There is a waterfall with a pool below it where you could jump in to cool off. Overall, we had a great time.

Thank you Anna! We are glad you could spend some time here and are glad you enjoyed the time here. You have a lovely family!
The hosts are fabulous! The property is a paradise. Many creeks and rivers to enjoy, the largest waterfall being much larger that the photos indicated! The hike to the campsite is a half mile but steep so we recommend having the hosts help transport gear up the mountain. Bug spray is a must since there is no shortage of ticks! We hope to be back again!

You all are fabulous as well and so kind. Congratulations for stick it out with all the rain. We would love to see you again!
Dana is an amazing host. I enjoyed the secluded campsite. The grounds are well kept. I can’t wait to go back and do some exploring!

Thank you, Michele, we loved hosting you and look forward to seeing you in the future.
What a great place to camp! From the owls to the stars it was magical. Just what the Dr ordered. I wish I had time to take the ATV tour. I will be coming back soon and must do that and enjoy the creek more.
Thank you so much!

Thank you Karen for camping with us. You are wonderful and we look forward to your next camping experience here at Peaceful Pine Mountain.
Wow! Beautiful location - you know you've found a good one when you come around the curve and see the house and creeks open up in front of you. Very secluded but not so far back that you can't find it. The hosts were very gracious. Unless you are a backpacker (or need your little ones to get out some energy as I did) I would highly recommend taking them up on the shuttle option via UTV to the campsite. No water or electricity so keep that in mind when packing. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Thank you, Dustin! We enjoyed having you here! You are welcome back anytime and we are looking forward to meeting your whole family the next time you come!
Dana and her husband Marty are the perfect hosts for a camping trip. They made sure we were well setup, and then let us have our privacy for the trip. I would highly recommend this for anyone! One piece of advice.....take them up on the ATV hauling, that hill is a beast!

Thank you, Allan, you were the perfect campers! So glad you enjoyed your time here and we hope to see you again soon!

Thank you Casey, there certainly are no shortage of ticks anywhere in NW Arkansas. But there is also no place like NWA with all the water and waterfalls, rock ledges and formations and green, natural space! I definitely recommend doing a nightly tick check anytime you are out in green space in NW Arkansas during warmer weather! You both are lovely and we welcome you back anytime!
