At the acre and a half clearing, or base camp as I call it, there is even two solar waterfalls and "bubbling tree stump" for your viewing and auditory pleasure for thr RV or truck campers that may not be able to set up camp in front of one of the many other natural waterfalls. The property is very nice and fantastic sites to stay at. Hard to get back to the campground the dirt road is fairly rough.
Beautiful area, the natural features are great Arron was a great host. We came at a bad time of year that is on us, so we didn't get explore his property much. His trail looked well kept and have a very novel way navigating, but I cant wait to come back in the fall. There was so much to do around Greer's ferry lake, there's a wonderful beach about 40 minutes away, but our favorite part was getting lost on the way home and wound up taking a 9 mile off road adventure, on one of the many off-road trails in the area, we end up atop an Ozark mountain and had a beautiful view of sunset the day we left. This place is prime if you have an ATV/UTV, you could spend a day a a few tanks of gas exploring the area.
We truly enjoyed our time here. The land is beautiful with great views of the creek. It was quiet and very relaxing. Aron himself is a great host and very friendly.

Well thanks so much Michelle, Akua (the mascot) and I really enjoyed your visit as well! Your more than welcome anytime:) Aloha, Aron
Aron’s land is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, and he is a very welcoming host. Due to little rain, there was not water for our trip, but he let us know some other things we could do with our kiddos. We were able to visit the swimming area at the nearby lake. We all enjoyed exploring the trails he has put in and the waterfalls.

Well thank you so much for the kind words Sarah! Very much appreciated :-) so sorry that we've got a couple months of the stream shutting down more than likely, except for when it rains of course. You guys are more than welcome anytime! Much Aloha to you and yours and your future camping endeavors :-)
I loved my experience here. Aron is an awesome and accommodating host who made our experience one to remember. Beautiful land, can't wait to come back when we get some rain and the waterfalls are flowing! Loved the bud lights along the trails, super unique and helpful. All around wonderful, would recommend to anyone that loves nature and getting away from the matrix.

Aloha again amber, thank you so much for your most gracious review! Super glad you enjoyed your stay. As most, they still think it's awesome, even without the water flowing. Still beats the hell out of KOA uh?! I still consider myself blessed to be Steward of such a wonderful property. I promise when you come back things will be quite differently. Water will be flowing and hopefully the homestead and permaculture Food Forest will be in full effect:-) much Aloha to you and yours future camping endeavors. Aron
To be 100% honest i was hesitant going to hillbilly hippie hideaway because of a comment saying the host was creepy. i’m here to tell you that was not at all my experience. Aron was such a sweet guy and great host! he made me and my boy friend feel nothing but comfortable.
I wore nothing but a bathing suit almost the whole time i was there and not once did i feel uncomfortable being around Aron! he was helpful, fun to talk to, and a sweet guy just trying to enjoy nature and share it with everyone else!
i will 100% be coming back and am super excited to. although the creeks were dry this time around it was still beautiful and Aron made us feel at home. (he also has a very cute dog that is super friendly!) 10/10 experience.

Awesome site! Aron is a cool guy and he’s got the friendliest dog too! Lots of nature to see, it’s peaceful, and lots of waterfalls as well. Be better than me and remember to bring your bug spray! Trees provide lots of shade and shelter from the rain. It’s really a magical place. Nothing but good vibes.

Well thanks so much Frankie for the Aloha. I really enjoyed your stay! And Akua says thank you as well... At least I'm pretty sure that's what ruff ruff means? Yeah mosquitoes weren't exactly in your favor last weekend for sure! Thanks again brother man! Hope to see you again :-)
Tent camping on Aron's land was great, lots of well designed and cleared campsites, plenty of hiking, a few swimming holes, good parking, and just really beautiful land; sprawling, isolated and dense forests. Not to mention that Aron was a great host and very accommodating to his guests. I did not bring a pet but other people had their dogs out their and they seemed to love it as much if not more than their people.

Thanks so much Paul...your welcome anytime!
The best tent camping in arkansas
We absolutely loved everything about Aron's property! Water features galore. The swimming hole and natural waterslide were two of our favorite spots, not to mention our camp site right next to one of the waterfalls! We were able to canoe down the river one day and caught my first walleye! Aron was a great host. This place changed our lives and we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend

WoW Leigh, thanks so much for the great review! And yes...this place has changed my life as well! Hope to see you guys again:)
