Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp is far more than your ordinary campground! This 104-acre Ozark Mountain wonderland’s biggest draw would be hard to pin down. We are offering off-the-beaten-path serenity, with huge areas for each rental space, and unmatched hospitality. Sip morning coffee while you lose your cares in the vast mountain views, enjoy the pristine natural beauty that surrounds you in the deer meadow. Hike trails that meander to the seasonal creeks and waterfalls, past ancient walnut and hickory trees, to rest on large rock formations thick with moss, or take the high trails to the top of our bluff where views and natural oddities reward you at every bend, or just lay in the hammocks by the frog pond with a good book. Wildlife abounds on this property, including fox, black bear, deer, chipmunks, groundhogs, bobcat, and tons more. We offer fantastic add-ons like creation stations where tables of art supplies can be laid out for either self-initiated projects or sample projects with instruction by hostess, Mizzy (a working artist with pieces in every continent, save Antarctica). Forage hikes, where you learn about the immense variety of edible plants, guided photo op hikes, cut and make your own walking stick ( and make it your own by wood burning, adding leather and feathers), are just a few of the options we have daily to add to your stay. Close to the Little Buffalo River and the quaint little town of Jasper, where you can shop, eat at the famous Ozark Cafe, or rent a kayak. One-of-a-kind stays include a fully off-grid container tiny house, boondock RV space, super large tent spaces, and coming soon a hippy van sleeper, cordwood log cabin, (we encourage sustainable building questions) we may be farther off the beaten track than those roadside places, but we are so very worth it. Come be Enchanted.

Mountain View Container, Off-Grid
I enjoyed my time at Mizzy’s place! It was beautiful and quiet, and my dogs enjoyed the space to play. There are lots of areas to explore on the property, but it is also in very close proximity to the town of Jasper and surrounding gems. Mizzy was very kind and made me feel very welcome! Highly recommend.

Site 2 - Deer meadow tent spots
I recently tent-camped for six nights at Mizzy's campground and had an enchanted stay. She very quickly responded to questions I had when I was planning for my stay, thorough directions to her land, and met me when I first arrived. At least twice a day, she visited my site and asked if I needed anything, which I appreciated. There are fun and whimsical decorations scattered around the campground: Birdcages hanging from tree limbs, a chandelier over the frog pond, an unexpected hammock between two trees, solar lights at night, and much more. She is a delightful camp host and a kind, interesting person. I can't wait to return!

10/10 Magical Experience
We absolutely loved our stay at Mizzy’s enchanted getaway! She is an amazing host, always happy to help with whatever you may need. The land is beautiful and diverse so you get a little bit of everything. We loved being able to hike down to the creek, up through the art-ornamented trails, back around the magical little frog pond and into the deer meadow where our camp site was. We had several friendly animal visitors and our dog had the time of her life too. It’s an easy drive into Jasper which is fun to walk/shop around in and grab a bite to eat. The drive is scenic and the land feels perfectly secluded and peaceful. Mizzy is working hard to keep making her little slice of heaven better and better. I can’t wait to return next year and see what she’s done!

I couldn't have picked a better location for my family's first camping trip. Mizzy made this a beautiful experience for my reluctant campers. Some notes... - The add-ons really made this experience special. We did the tea party and the nature crown craft and even my screen-loving tween got in on the fun. Playing dress up and drinking tea in the forest truly felt ethereal. If you are on the fence about the add-ons, DO IT! It's so worth it, especially if you are trying to sell kids on the idea of camping. - The host cares deeply about this land and it shows. If you get the chance to chat with her, take it. - I personally witessed this restroom being tended to daily. It was very tidy and clean and there is also a handwashing station located behind the restroom. It is best to select a site close to the restroom. - If you are a first responder or first responder family, please consider supporting this campground with a visit - host is dedicated to giving back to the first responder community. - Very private. There were other campers there but it felt like we had the whole 100 acres to ourselves. - Very dog friendly! Host took a selfie with my dogs and it melted my heart. - My five year old daughter wanted me to add that she wants to go back for eighteen days, lol.
