Enjoy the lake lifestyle with a full hookup site; 30A 120V RV, potable water, and septic. This open and flat meadow is nearly surrounded by trees, has a nice view of the pond, and trail access to the nearby lake. This site is perfect for use as base camp to explore the many nearby attractions, for the fishing enthusiast, and of course to hang out and enjoy your own space with plenty of room, then mosey down to the lake whenever you feel like it . You are welcomed here, so just make yourself at home and enjoy your own plot of land on Lake Greeson and I'll be your neighbor that has a lot of chickens!
The site is 130 feet away from the chicken coop and it is visible. They will freerange from about 9 am until sunset. Most will head far out of sight but a small group will linger around coop. My house is also in view, it's about 250 feet from site. Trees and shrubs are scattered between, so the overall views of coop and house from camp site are partial, making it a semi-private setting for all of us. The view ranges from thick forest to moderate tree cover with a few open areas that offer a view of the pond and another meadow.
Overall the downside is noise and the upside is it's your own 1/4 acre plot within 6 acres of private property. Lake access from property is a short walk, however there are a few nearby options to drive to shoreline. If you have any questions at all, please send me a message. Thanks for visiting!

You may access Bennett Cove trail and hike to the lake. If lake level is low enough, you can travel quite far along shoreline.
Calm water in cove at end of private access and nearby Little Missouri River offers rapids.
Red shouldered hawk, songbirds, turtles, rabbits, deer are common. Fox, eagle, and owl more of a challenge.
Natural features you'll find at Rooster Row in Arkansas.
Property has mixed/young forest. Lake area is old forest.

#1 camping in arkansas!
Hands down the best primitive, and RV camping in Arkansas! Charles was an AMAZING host! And he has a beautiful property with lake access! Morning roosters is by far the best way to wake up before taking a little stroll to the lake. And his hospitality is superb! Thanks for the battery jump!
Property is amazing! Rustic but for RVs, the hookups are conveniently located in one spot. We arrived at night so was a bit of a challenge finding since minimal road lighting. But, our host was on the side of the road with a light and guided us to our spot! His tent sites are pretty amazing too! They’re spread out so no one is on top of one another. One bit of warning...this being my first RV trip ever, it seems my trailer is considered a big rig (33’ box) and things were pretty tight negotiating it around getting out. Barely heard the roosters and even if I did, wouldn’t care. Part of the charm! Plus the host let us hold a couple of the babies! There is some road noise but minimal. Host is very personable and I would definitely recommend his site to anyone!
Serene wilderness nightscape
The host was very welcoming. By the time I was arriving which was late at night, Charles was starting a nice warm fire which was much appreciated as I had been driving about 9 hours. I was able to rest by the fire and just take in the night views. The location was super quiet and very private with working electricity, which is a plus. Highly recommend!!
Nice camp and great host.
Charles was awesome, very accommodating. I am solo traveling and stayed at his other campsite ‘Fox Nook’, just for a night. Charles raises chickens. Many roosters crowing in the morning, but I personally enjoyed hearing them. Short little walk to a beautiful lake. The bathroom is primitive. I was looking for a nice little campsite for the night and I found it.
Wonderful camping getaway!
We spent Labor Day weekend w/ family at this site & loved it! It accommodated our 37’ Class A RV, 28’ pull-behind camper, several tents (for the kids), plus our 5 vehicles. There is only 1 electrical, water & sewer hook-up that the pull-behind camper utilized (our RV is fully self-contained).
All together we had a group of 15 & enjoyed our experience here. It was clean, well maintained & private. There are 2 trails that you can walk to access Lake Greeson; One is for Bennet Cove & the other is for Kiddie Cove...both have nice swim areas. There is also access to a small pond (right next to campsite) for fishing. The site is close to several state recreational areas, as well for swimming, fishing, boating, etc.
Our camp host, Charles was friendly & amazing at providing info./directions, fire wood, trash bags, etc. & was courteous at checking in w/ us from time to time to make sure our needs were met.
We highly recommend this place & plan to make it a regular camp trip for our family!
