The Desert Rose geodesic dome is situated on your own private acre, boosting spectacular views of the San Francisco mountain range. Conveniently located, we are less than 10 mins away from local stores, 20 mins from downtown Williams and only 30 minutes away from the Grand Canyon. Relax and unwind in the peace and tranquillity of high desert, off grid living. Nothing like kicking back in one of our zero gravity recliners while cozying up by your camp fire under the stars. SIDE NOTE:  This location is intended for a peaceful getaway, not a party spot. We ask that you please refrain from loud music and loud voices especially during quiet hours (9pm-8am) Keep in mind, even though this is considered “luxury” camping, it is still camping. If you are not okay with bugs, critters, no electric etc.. a hotel may be better suited for you. Please plan for “leave no trace” style camping and take your trash with you upon check out.

The sunrise from the he dome is undeniably the best part!!? Chad was an amazing host, the dome is beautiful! Lots of room inside, mini heater in case you get cold in the night or early morning. The bed was super comfy too!!!

Tent under the stars
Small things add up to the best imaginable stay, this place is one of them. Chad’s (host) destination directions are helpful and He was great during my stay. During summer nights the area gets windy and tent gets cold, I recommend to carry additional propane (16OZ) Overall this is an amazing place to create your travel memories! The tent with amenities in the wilderness and under the stars

Grand Canyon Dome Home
We loved the “tent “ that was more like a futuristic dome house. It was so relaxing to have so much space and vast views of the desert around us. And a million stars at night! The bed was super comfy. The interior of the tent is cute, my kids immediately felt happy. It is camping in the sense of no running water or electricity or regular toilet or shower, however there is everything you need with drinking water, a little camping toilet, a camping kitchen, a shower nearby and a very friendly host who was very available for questions. Staying so close to Grand Canyon helped us break up the trip from Phoenix and was like a mini vacation to another world. Don’t forget to look for the green roof house on your way there, we found it easily.

Chad was a great host. He called up ahead of time and made sure we have right directions to reach the camp. He was also available on phone when we reached the camp late and helped us with all the questions we had. The dome tent itself was really beautiful and had all the amenities that were listed in great condition. We had a great time and would definitely be coming back again.

A brand new way of life is the Dome
This was my first experience with Dome camping, but it was great. The owner Chad was very nice and directions were right on. Very dusty to get to the camp site so if you have sinuses don’t for get the medication. The assistant was amazing as well. He stopped to make sure there was nothing we needed. Just so you know make sure you use the heater if it says it’s 54 degrees out. Inside the dome it seems much colder for sure. You will freeze if you try to be tough. Owner supplies everything you can possibly think of and more. If your heading to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon or to Williams Az it is right in the middle of them so check it out you’ll be happy you did.
