Peaceful, fun and relaxing
Sara is a most hospitable host and made us feel right at home. The animals and the amazing view of the stars made it extra special. We look forward to staying here again!!
Beautiful camp site loved how close the animals are and they are all so sweet. ❤
Definitely will return. Host (Sara) is lovely very welcoming and helpful. Sara offers painting 🖼 for $10 bucks. Cute idea, but wasnt clear it was a charge at first.
Super time! superb host!
Highly recommend staying at Sarah’s beautiful property!
She’s a great host, and works hard to make hospitality job number 1.
Critter Camp was a perfect time on the farm for our little ones. The animals were so much fun and Sarah invited us to help feed & groom some them. She reminded the kids of safety rules and was a patient teacher.
This site is very family-friendly for car camping, with the ability to park right at the site. Water from their well is provided in the site - no need to pack it along - and tastes super! The very clean, well kept toilet is just steps away. Great fresh air, beautiful views, sunrises & sunsets. Make sure to leave the rainfly off for star gazing, too!
Sarah offers multiple sites on the property. She’s very knowledgable of the area (great recommendation for our family hike). Very accommodating - just ask and Sarah will work to make your stay super.
This was our family’s first booking and although Sarah’s a new host, we can say for certain that Critter Camp and Sarah are most definitely a credit to the HipCamp Community.
Our stay here with friends was truly amazing & exceeded all of our expectations! Our camp included 3 families. We loved our hands on experience with the animals at this beautiful property and we had the perfect camping spot for our large trailers. Sara was the best host! She went above and beyond as camp host to make us feel welcomed during our stay. She even took each family out for a sunset ride and tour in her side x side. We had the opportunity to help out with the evening feedings for her animals during our stay. Needless to say, the kids in our group loved helping! Such great memories for the kids! Sara is extremely knowledgeable about her animals and we appreciated her taking the time to educate all of us. As a nice option, she offers dog boarding. We brought our anxious senior dog on our trip. We knew we would have one long day away from our dog who would be stuck in our trailer. It was very convenient to be able to board him for that day especially since we knew he was in good hands with Sara! We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Sara's property & our next camping trip will be hard to beat!
A wonderful escape!
I'd love to give this place 1 star so I could have it all to myself, but I just can't do that. Sara was an amazing host! She offered us a ride around her property on her side-by-side and she let our 5 year-old son help her feed and brush the animals. We had so much fun meeting and looking at the animals! It was also nice to walk through a gate and stay exploring the Sitgreaves National Forest. This was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back!
Chilled with g
I loved this experience! The host Sara went above and beyond to make sure our stay was we had everything we needed. Water,electric,restroom.,firewood. The host was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and took us on a site seeing ride. The Alpaca roam freely through the camp and we enjoyed watching them as well playing with the donkeys. Great hiking and exploring. I would recommend to anyone that loves animals to check out this hipcamp
Camping with the alpacas
This camp is so nice. It was awesome being around the animals ( horse, donkeys, alpacas, cat) , and we could hear the owls at night.
The bathroom was clean. They also have a very nice fire ring and the wood was supplied. Sara the camp host made sure we had everything we needed, which she supplied us with a camp stove since ours wasn't working.
So i highly recommend this place especially if you have children. Thank you Sara
Animal lovers/beautiful scenery
Animal Lovers is a great spot! Spent two nights there and had a great time. The animals are very easy going and the camp site has everything you need. Sarah is a great host who has a wealth of knowledge of the area and she is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this experience.
