Pinnacle Farms tent campsite
This was a beautiful and unique camping spot! I enjoyed its proximity to Phoenix and the south mountain preserve. Very cozy, and I felt safe as a solo traveler. I appreciated the super clean outdoor shower/bathroom and kitchen area!
Of note there was some noise from Highway/neighboring properties but I just popped my earplugs in and slept great.

Best Phoenix camping
You won’t find better camping in Phoenix. I stay at Pinnacle Farm twice a year.

We had a great stay at Janna’s place! Having grass and shade to camp on is a real treat, especially out here in the desert. Was nice to have a shower and sink as well. Waking up to the birds and smell of citrus trees was also really lovely. Would stay here again 🌴

Really sweet spot within 20 min of downtown Phoenix. I stayed a night as a solo female tent camper and felt very safe— it helped that the people staying nearby in the trailer were friendly and low key too! I was fainted in the drive over, as you pass through a rather bleak industrial area on the way to the calmer agricultural community of Laveen, but felt good upon arrival. It’s a working farm, and the owner Mike is a genuine farmer and gentleman. The outdoor shower was awesome. Some noise from the nearby road on a Friday night (maybe people drag racing?) but otherwise very peaceful. Birds were a noisy delight at dusk and dawn. I’d come back!
