The drive to this campground is gorgeous. The bright dirt roads through the forests are truly breathtaking. Dominic’s property is stunning. There are nearby campsites to hike into along with some flat places for a trailer or van. We had a pull behind trailer and had no problems. There are few places where the sand can be deeper so keep that in mind. The directions are slightly confusing. Maps doesn’t do a good job so follow the hosts’s directions. There are no amenities currently, but this campsite was awesome and very scenic. The host was also very helpful and called me to tell me the best places to view the property from. Would stay here again

An absolutely fantastic stay yet again! Dominic is a caring and thoughtful host. Since we had such a lovely experience the first time we came we decided why not go back, and I’m so glad we did. The stars and views did not disappoint. I would absolutely recommend this stay!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. We were met on-site and showed around. The directions given by Dominic were perfect. Upon driving into the property, you can truly see how gorgeous the surroundings are. We pitched our tent over a beautiful view. So much to explore and see. My dog was more than happy with all there was to sniff! The stars were absolutely lovely! I would highly recommend this property. Super friendly hosts.

Peaceful primitive camping was EXCELLENT! Beautiful area with privacy and views. Easy to access. Welcoming hosts.

We needed a place to stay on our drive from NM to CA and this was perfect. It is only 10-15 minutes off the interstate but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and have tons of privacy. The night sky was amazing. We only wish we had time to do some hiking around the property as it was so picturesque.

Dominic will provide easy to follow directions after booking. The route to his property is part paved road and part well-maintained dirt road. A regular passenger car will easily be able to navigate to the property.

We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The directions from Hipcamp sent me to the wrong location but it ended up being perfect. Dominic got me squared away at his other property which I told him I’d be happy with. He guided me by phone up to the most pristine and beautiful spot Ive been on in my trip so far. The sun was setting behind the mountains, I had a level spot for my camper van, pulled out my little table and chair, and a good bottle of wine and relished the view among the pinons and juniper.trees. I had the best sleep of my trip (3 weeks so far). Readers should know I am not reviewing the site that this review is meant for but I don’t think you can go wrong with either property as Dominic is such a caring and helpful host. I would highly recommend staying at one of his places. BTW, he guided me down to the highway by phone as well.
