Judith and David were so welcoming and really made us feel at home. Great hospitality. We wish we could have stayed longer. Simple but effective set up. Perfect launching off point on our way to the grand canyon. Definitely recommend!
I had a very nice stay at Judith & David’s campsite! They are both very welcoming and hospitable. At one point, the wind almost blew away my tent and Judith took it upon herself to help anchor the tent using cement blocks. Such a clever woman, and a great host!
The location of the property was very convenient. Their property is a straight shot to the Grand Canyon (takes 30 mins to drive there) and just 25 mins from modern conveniences like Starbucks, McDonalds, etc in Tusayan.
As for the campsite itself, it met my expectations. Judith and David laid a fire pick, firewood, mat, & table out for me prior to my arrival which was very kind. They also have an outhouse of sorts set up, and water which I was grateful for.
Overall, I’d come back and would recommend this site to a friend.

Was a great piece of land! Others were really far away, so it felt super private. The hosts are the kindest and their communication was great. There was even an water tank on the spot which we could use.
Judith and David were lovely hosts! Our stay at their campsite was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend staying here!
Judith was super sweet and helpful! The stay was really comfortable and they offered us weather accommodations. The toilets are composting toilets so just be prepared for that.
Judith and David are incredibly helpful, great hosts, and lovely people! Communicative, thorough, and the site was perfect. Would recommend!
Perfect for us. If you Like solitude but still want to be close to the canyon then this spot is awesome. The hosts provided a safe and secluded area for us to park our trailer and explore the canyon. The hosts were very kind people and we enjoyed meeting them and their animals, especially their donkey. Awesome experience.
