This spectacular campsite is the closest you'll get to the new Tribal Park Entrance.  We are in fact in Monument Valley, and throughout history the Tribal Park Entrance has changed from Gouldings Lodge and is now at the View Hotel.  We are conveniently located 1 Mile from the 163 Junction, before the Tribal Park Entrance.

This site is close to the roads, entering into the Navajo Tribal Park, and accessible to grocery store, gas station and restaurants.. So this site location is semi remote, its close to the central fee gate & Visitors Center, which many people want!) At this location, you are guests of the Navajo and can access the entire Monument Valley easily accessible with any type of car.  There is an outhouse at the campsite area. This listing includes access to our instant hot water solar shower, and we provide wifi for checking messages, or maps, but its very limited as we are in a rural area.  So we don't provide it as an amenity because there's no technology for it to reach the tents.  And we feel that's the best part of camping.  Having access to it, but not while actually camping.  This listing is for one vehicle.  Extra Vehicles require their own site registration.

This site includes a tent, with a full sized bed, pillows, linens, blankets, comforter, a queen sized 0 degree sleeping bag, and during the winter months we give guests handwarmers which make it nice and warm in the sleeping bag, without having to heat up the entire outdoors.

Shash and his mom were so accommodating and made sure we have everything we needed. Also messaged us as weather got a bit funny which was so thoughtful. Met us on arrival and explained all the appliances in the tent and took us to the shower which was clean with towels! So great! The tents were spread apart enough and had everything you need to enjoy camping hassle free. The views were amazing, especially in the morning and at sunset. Highly recommend this place!

What a great place to stay! The view, amenities, and location couldn’t have been better for a night in the desert. The host was very welcoming and showed us around. Everything was clean and well cared for. Hope to be back!

This was a magical experience. The site's views are amazing and Antza showed me everything and made sure I understood how everything worked, and came to check in on me after I got settled. The shower is very cute, clean, and refreshing. All of the camp equipment was very thoughtful, down to the reflective tape on chair seats and grill tools. The tent itself was extremely comfortable and clean. Even the outhouse was clean and well maintained. Communications with hosts were fast and responsive, and directions were super clear. Would absolutely come back.

A more beautiful location cannot be found. Everything needed for a pleasant night of camping was provided, including a tent of very comfortable dimensions, and the host also helped set up a delightful horseback ride. I’d absolutely return.

This place definitely deserves as much hype as possible! Incredible views during the day and at night, and the hosts provide lanterns, cooking supplies, and a charging port! Seriously, if you’re looking for a place to camp/glamp in the valley, this is the place to do it.

This place is awesome for so many reasons. Mark, Jenna, and Atsa were some of the most thoughtful hosts I’ve encountered...they’ve truly thought of everything you might need and the tents and sites are well equipped (and have a private view of Mitchell butte!). I also HIGHLY recommend doing a horseback tour of the park with Joe Atene (Atsa can help you coordinate), it was probably the most special part of our two week trip.

FYI, they’ve done a lot of improvements on the site since they started so I would trust the more recent reviews more than the old ones.
