Everyone who comes here says this is a very peaceful place! It's like being out in the country whilst still being close enough to so many things, about halfway between Sedona and Prescott, in a neighborhood with dirt roads and farm animals, in which horses have the right away.

The mountains are hypnotic. The air is clean. The stars are breathtaking. You can see the Milky Way on a clear night. The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. There's a gravel area to park, or you can tent anywhere out on the property. There's a walking path, firepit, medicine wheel and labyrinth. Wifi, water and outside electrical outlet available upon request. No bathroom facilities. Must pack it out.

We're animal friendly. We have a Spaniel that runs around. Lots of birds, like cardinals, hawks, owls, blue jays, roadrunners and hummingbirds. Jackrabbits and coyotes too. Your host is a trained yoga/meditation teacher, so if you're into that sort of thing or just curious to learn, you can corral her into booking a session outside on nice day or set you up with a local for a private tour of Sedona or the Grand Canyon. Oh the possibilities!

The location is central to so many incredible places to explore. There's also a local farm down the road for fresh eats, pick your own food if you want, a bakery with fudge (woohoo!) and fun activities for the whole family.

Here's some of the sight seeing possibilities just to get your mind percolating:

Grand Canyon (2.5 hours)Devil’s Bridge (Sedona) Cathedral rock (Sedona) Bell Rock (Sedona) Oak Creek Canyon (Sedona) Bumblebee Giant Saguaros (North Phoenix) Watson’s Lake (Prescott) Granite Dels (Prescott) Ghost Town Tour (Jerome) Lowell Observatory (Flagstaff) Wupatki National Monument (Flagstaff) Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument (Flagstaff) Arizona Snowbowl (Flagstaff) Antelope Canyon (Page) Lake Powell (Page) Horseshoe Bend (Page) Petrified Forest National Park (2.75 hours) Meteor Crater National Landmark (2 hours) Walnut Canyon National Monument (Flagstaff) Montezuma Castle National Monument and Well (Camp Verde) Out of Africa Wildlife Park (Camp Verde) Desert Botanical Gardens (Phoenix) Wine Tasting (Page Springs)

Nice little site, only stayed for 1 night passing through area but there was plenty of space to pitch a tent with nice soft level ground. Quiet at night. Beautiful walking labyrinth, used it at sunset and was just what we needed.

Really enjoyed the beautiful sunset, sun rise, as well as the stars! You can see the mountains in the distance all around. There were lots of spots to pick for our tent too and it wasn’t far from all the activities we wanted to enjoy around here.

Beautiful evening!Beautiful morning!Lots of stars!

Melody was very kind and quick to respond. I accidentally booked our stay for the wrong dates so we haven’t actually had the pleasure of staying at her property yet. However, when I realized I’d booked the wrong date, Melody was extremely understanding and accommodating. Just based on our brief interactions so far, I would definitely recommend her listing to any friends visiting the area! We look forward to our own visit this summer! Thank you.

The grounds and locaton were perfect for easy set up. Melody, the host, was very welcoming and chill. I'd highly recommend if you want something easy on the way to a trailhead or on the road. Would be great for groups!
