It's my pleasure to host RVer's at my home in a country community located about halfway between Prescott and Sedona. It's a great launching pad for visiting many things in the area.

It's my pleasure to host RVer's at my home in a country community located about halfway between Prescott and Sedona. It's a great launching pad for visiting many things in the area.

Parking is on my gravel driveway in front of my house on my 2 acre lot. The Mountain view is on the backside. You'll have access to a 30 amp electrical hook up (I have a 25 foot extension cord), Wifi, and a dog run. There's also a medicine wheel and labyrinth for your enjoyment.

There's a place in town that has free water & dumping I can refer you to if you like. Water is a commodity since I'm on hauled water, but if you want to fill your tank while you are here, I have a long hose and just ask $10 cash per fill.

It's 1.5 mile on a dirt road coming in. The road isn't great but it's not terrible either. It gets graded about once a quarter and the quality depends on the weather we've had in between grading.

My lot has plenty of space to accommodate the large Class A RVs, but turning into the 40ft wide driveway from a one lane road can be tight, so I'd recommend if you're longer than 30 feet and have a tow vehicle, that you disconnect your tow vehicle at the entrance of the dirt road and drive in separately.

Some of the animals I've seen on the property include jackrabbits, Arizona cottontails, mule deer, coyote, javelina, and tons of birds like quail, cardinals, hawks, owls, blue jays, roadrunners and hummingbirds.

Mortimer Farm is 6 miles down the road and offers a deli/bakery, seasonal activities like a pumpkin patch, strawberry fest, veggie picking etc.

Some other sites include:

Quail wood Golf Course (10 miles) Lynx Lake (30 mins) Grand Canyon (2.5 hours) Devil’s Bridge (Sedona 1 hour) Cathedral rock (Sedona) Bell Rock (Sedona 45 mins) Oak Creek Canyon (Sedona) Bumblebee Giant Saguaros (North Phoenix) Watson’s Lake (Prescott) Granite Dels (Prescott) Ghost Town Tour (Jerome) Lowell Observatory (Flagstaff) Wupatki National Monument (Flagstaff) Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument (Flagstaff) Arizona Snowbowl (Flagstaff) Antelope Canyon (Page) Lake Powell (Page) Horseshoe Bend (Page) Petrified Forest National Park (2.75 hours) Meteor Crater National Landmark (2 hours) Walnut Canyon National Monument (Flagstaff) Montezuma Castle National Monument and Well (Camp Verde) Out of Africa Wildlife Park (Camp Verde) Desert Botanical Gardens (Phoenix) Wine Tasting (Page Springs)

New to Hipcamp was first campsite we used. Host was super nice and friendly and property has great views. Be prepared for around a 2 mile dirt road that is slightly rough (we had an Class C rv) getting to their house/site. She had 30 amp hook up, wifi, and we could use hose if needed for extra water!

My friend and I had a great experience here! Melody was super kind and we loved getting to know more about the area from her. We ended up going to Bell Rock in Sedona based on her recommendation, which was one of my favorite parts of our trip!
It’s a really easy site to park at, the WiFi worked well for us (we were working during the week), and there is electric as well. There is a free dump station in town, not too far away. The road coming in to the site is a dirt road and is bumpy, but I would recommend just slowing down to 10-15 MPH and you’ll be totally fine!

Thank you so much, Melody, for a great experience! We really enjoyed getting to know you and hope to come back someday

Easy place to park on gravel driveway in front of house. Dog friendly. Places for dog to run in yard. Challenging road to entrance if it rains.

This is the second time we stayed at the site. It is wonderful- so beautiful and tranquil, yet just a couple of miles off the main road. The road is the only downside, lots of washboard and ruts for those two miles. But well worth going slow and being careful because you will love it once you get there. I love to visit the on-site medicine wheel and walk the labyrinth. Melody is a great host!

It was a pleasure to have you back again Beverly! I’m sorry to hear the road coming in was not up to your satisfaction. It’s 1.5 mile on the dirt road to the hipcamp and gets graded once per quarter, so the condition varies depending on the timing of the visit. Hope to see you again for round 3! Happy trails

This was our first Hipcamp stay and we really enjoyed it. We wanted to find a quiet spot to hang out for Memorial Day w/e. This place fit the bill. The host was very nice and she had 30 amp and water if we needed. Also fast WiFi. Nice area to walk around out back and there is a labyrinth to play in. We would repeat.
