Eastern trees block the morning sun allowing you to sleep in and enjoy your morning. Enjoy the night sky or soak up some AZ rays from the hammock on your site. Picnic table, fire pit, and potable water (seasonally) on-site for your enjoyment. This site can comfortably accommodate 2 camping vehicles and 2 tents! This is a large site perfect if you would like plenty of room for yourself, or if you are traveling with a larger group. Please let us know if you would like any advice to get the most out of your visit to beautiful Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon. We are very knowledgeable about the region and Grand Canyon viewpoints, and are happy to share all our knowledge with you! We are one of the closest Hipcamp locations to the Grand Canyon, less than 25 miles to the rim. Come and enjoy the perfect balance of convenience and privacy with amazing views!

Cara and James’ land was the perfect, quiet place for us to call home for the night. They were very helpful with directions and recommendations. Camp site had everything we needed and then some. Would highly recommend staying here! Just a short 30 min drive to Grand Canyon. We loved it!

The site was clean, well laid out and it was close to Grand Canyon Village. Moreover, the site was quite and private. The owners/site managers were very accomodating and responded promptly to communications. We had a great time during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets.

Had a great stay here over Thanksgiving! The site was perfect, it was big and everything provided was in excellent condition. The large fire ring was perfect, it allowed for good size fires which was greatly needed since it was cold during our stay. The stars at night were amazing! The kids loved the hammock. James greeted us shortly after we arrived, and was an excellent host! The dirt road leading to the place was a bit rough but taken slow we were able to get our trailer there no problem. I would recommend this place.
This spot is absolutely stunning. We came in in the dark and woke up to a desert wonderland. James and cara were super responsive and had everything you would need in a campsite. Highly recommend!
This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon. It had a nice table, trash can and some water in a large, clean flat area. Not much shade was available, but there were some scruffy trees around. It was very quiet and we could just see some other RV's off in the distance. They have some solar lights that help to find the driveway at night. We had fun riding our bikes around the dirt trails surrounding the area. The stars each night were lovely. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the canyon each day. We also visited Williams, another 30 minutes away, one of the afternoons and got provisions etc. The hip camp is about 3 miles off the highway down a dirt road which we had to take very slowly with our travel trailer. We would definitely recommend this place.
The place was great. Well kept and away from other campers. Light pollution was low so the stars were very clear and spectacular.
James and Cara were great they greeted you at the campsite to ensure you had everything needed. They were very responsive to your text. They responded to my text within five mins or less.
They had a great fire pit with plenty of dead wood for you to gather. They had sand down with a rack shovel so, you could smooth the ground for your tent.
