The Casita has: one bathroom with a shower, 2 bedrooms (two new queen beds), refrigerator, coffeemaker and coffee, microwave, and a toaster/air-fryer (upon request). Outside breakfast table, recliner, and patio stocked with chairs and games.
The following items are available at High Jinks Ranch as an extra to your reservation: campfire kit, laundry, espresso machine (coffee beans included), and elopement package (officiant and champagne included).
For the younger explorers among us, we have copies of the Arizona Trail Junior Explorer Handbook in English and Spanish--just ask for one during your visit.
Discounts are available for veterans, active duty, and Arizona Trail hikers. Please inquire with the host.

The night sky was the clearest I have ever seen. The Casita was darling and cozy! I will definitely be going back!
I had a great time at the ranch. I was hiking the Arizona Trail and took a "zero" - a day off - and stayed here. It was perfect: right off the trail, very hiker friendly, and super relaxing.
The Casita at High Jinks Ranch was a perfect stop on our trip through the Arizona Desert. The views made us feel like we were on top of the world. The space was comfortable and had plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Kimberly was an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The dirt road was much more accessible than I anticipated it might be. Overall the Casita was easy to get to for feeling so absolutely remote.
We used the microwave and refrigerator while we were there. I discovered I didn’t read the description throughly to realize there wasn’t a hot plate or other stove type burner available. We had our little single burner but were out of fuel and there wasn’t any available in the small town closest to High Jinks. Just a note to future travelers to plan accordingly.
Did I mention the views??? They were incredible. Beautiful sunset sky in the evening, so many stars at night and an amazing sunrise in the morning that was visible from bed.
We would highly recommend High Jinks Ranch to anyone making their way through that part of Arizona.
High Jinks Ranch is a beautiful setting with great views in every direction. The space was cozy, the host was very friendly and helpful, and our favorite part was the surprise visit from two sweet cuddly cats!

A really special property and casita. Kim was a pleasure to meet as well as her friendly cats that roam. The views are one of a kind. We were blown away to stumble upon this gem and hope to visit again soon!
The casita was perfect for my wife and I. We are thru hiking the AZT and this was a perfect rest spot.
