Best Hipcamp in Arizona according to Outside Magazine!

100 square foot A-Frame transforming cabin on 10 wooded acres.  Perfect for couples or two friends, this cabin is fully off grid but still has everything you need. One wall lifts for indoor-outdoor living. Our composting toilets and outdoor showers are nearby.

Short drive from the town of Williams; 45 miles to Grand Canyon.

Enjoy the peaceful landscape, gorgeous valley view, the mountain air, and beautiful night sky!

We are located on the native land of the Hualapai, Havasupai, Hopi, and Diné people

The cabin is about a 3 minute walk from the parking area so do not expect to be right next to your car.

In the summer, there's Wifi available which works well enough but is not super fast in the cabin. In the winter, Wifi is turned off so our electronics don't freeze. Since we're out a ways from town, T-Mobile/Metro PCS is the only reliable cell network. AT&T does get a weak signal usually good for calls, same with Verizon.

The cabin is on 10 acres of wild land.  There are 3 other yurts and our van home also on the property.  Everything is spread out so you'll have privacy.  Check with us before having a campfire to make sure wind and weather conditions are favorable.

Our entire setup is done in a way to be as sustainable as possible. Most items are built from up-cycled wood and we tried to limit the use of concrete and plastics.  The goal is for you to feel like you are comfortably part of the natural environment. Please respect the land and it will take care of you! We respectfully ask that you try your best not to use single-use plastic during your stay with us. We really need to change our habits in order to save the earth!  We have reusable metal water bottles for sale if you need them.

Our toilet is a dry and composting toilet. It doesn't smell and also doesn't use any of our valuable water. We are happy to discuss with any and everyone the necessity of changing our habits if we are to create a better more sustainable world.

We provide drinking water, local information, and a Grand Canyon park pass to save you $35.

Our shower is outdoors and a really amazing experience. In spring and summer, we have an on demand hot water shower that allows you to shower in nature. After mid October the on demand hot shower is unavailable as it would freeze and break during the night. In this time you can add hot water into the solar bags to still get a shower. We are also in a very dry region, so we encourage less usage of water in general.

We provide drinking water, local information, a camp stove and basic cooking supplies, and a Grand Canyon park pass to save you $35! There are decent restaurants in town and Zach is a trained chef specializing in creative plant-based cuisine. You can use our hand-built cedar sauna for an extra $40 setup fee to get nice and warm!

This is a place to chill out in nature, not a party place.  We don't mind if you have a few drinks, but no loud music ever, or loud voices during quiet hours (9pm-8am). Be respectful to the fact that we are on a hill and sound carries easily, and we often have multiple groups staying at once.

A small propane heater is provided in the cabin as nights can be quite cold after November 1st (and even sometimes in October).  The day times are still quite nice though, usually.  There is always a possibility of snow storms though and if this happens our cabin can become inaccessible.  We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if we deem it unsafe for habitation in the colder months. Please take responsibility for checking the weather and temperatures for Williams, AZ before you arrive. On super cold nights, we recommend you bring sleeping bags as well.

When we are busy the cabin may operate using a self check-in process and the price will be reduced to reflect this. We will provide a video of how everything works. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Pets are allowed but we charge a $25 cleaning fee per pet.

Please realize that this is an off-grid experience in nature. You will encounter nature and things that come with nature like insects, weather, etc. We don't have enough power for you to use things like hair dryers or curling irons on our system. If you consider yourself "high maintenance" please stay somewhere else.

During summer and fall extras like yoga classes, guided hikes, professional massage, and Reiki energy healing may be available. Please send us a message to inquire about our availability before adding extras or breakfast to your stay. We also run weekend yoga and hiking retreats from time to time. We encourage you to stay more than 1 night if possible to take advantage of all this area has to offer.

The beds in the A-frame were really comfortable. It was nice to have the whole plexiglass side open at night. We added a breakfast and messages to our stay and they were both fabulous.

If you want to disconnect and just enjoy nature and beauty you will not be disappointed. This little A frame was perfect to meet up with my son and his dog . The beds are comfy. We kept the cabin open all night so we could just look up at the stars. Had access to an ice bath and sauna and the best hot outdoor shower I have ever experienced. The hosts Carrie and Zach share their love of nature and gifts of yoga and were easily accessible. I wouldn’t hesitate to return when I’m in the area.

This might be my favorite hipcamp I have ever stayed in. So beyond peaceful and beautiful. I felt like I was on a retreat. Absolutely breathtaking sunset and sunrise. an outdoor shower overlooking the mountains in the distance, a yoga studio/platform, a sink and toilets, fire pit, heater!!, blankets, pillows, towels, everything you need! Keri and zach were excellent, they responded to any questions and were fantastic hosts!

Super cute A-frame- not too far from the Grand Canyon. Zach and Carrie were great hosts and have a really cool set up. I would highly recommend adding on a sauna visit- just up the hill from the A-frame…especially if it’s cold outside. Check this place out if your looking to watch the sun rise in the morning, hike the Grand Canyon and then watch the stars shine at night!

Stayed a single night and if anything it did not feel long enough! The A-Frame cabin was incredibly cozy and well maintained. We stayed on a night that there were extreme wind warning but the cabin kept us comfortable and safe. Wonderful hospitality all around.

We love Zach and Carrie’s A frame! The cabin was beautiful and cozy. They provided a camping stovetop, cookware, plates, & utensils. The sauna costs a little extra but was also super awesome. All around a great stay thanks guys!
