Places to see near Grand Canyon Eco-Glamping
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
What a beautiful and peaceful land! I didn't get to meet Zach and Carrie but they communicated very well via message. Everything is very organized and clean. I would go back there and recommend to friends.
A beautiful view
We loved our stay at the Grand Canyon Eco-Glamping site. The view from our camp was picture-postcard beautiful! There was plenty of space and all trails were well marked. The path to the bathroom even had solar lights for late night visits! We were met by Tim, Carrie’s brother, who showed us around and answered our questions. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed 2 nights here, and we feel fairly mixed. The camp area is a bit of a walk uphill from the parking are, and quite a long walk to the "facilities". And you pass uncomfortably close to other people staying in the yurts on the way. Neither of the showers worked while we were there.
On the other hand, it was quiet and a nice view and close to the Grand Canyon.
But we've stayed in some dispersed sites for free that were easier to manage. The price here is for the location.
The campsite was very well maintained and was just far enough off the beaten path to feel secluded. Great views, and close to the Grand Canyon. Zach and Carrie were very prompt in their responses and the directions were spot on. Would definitely recommend!
Peaceful, friendly, safe.
Zach was super friendly and helpful. The eco- glamping was amazing. I was looking for safe, yet quiet, and that is exactly what I found.
Definitely a great place to stay.
Fabulous stay, incredible host
Carrie's brother, Tim was our host and he was great! Very thoughtful, continually asking if there was anything else he could do for us. We had great conversations and felt very at home and incredibly cared for.
The site was beautiful. We camped in our own tent and had that portion of the property all to ourselves. The bathroom is great, and they even have an amazing platform for yoga that overlooks the valley.
I highly recommend trying out the rustic camping shower option - it was surprisingly warm and lovely. Don't worry, there is also a shower option hooked up to a steady water supply and propane heater if you'd prefer.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will be staying there again when we go back to the area.
