Ed had someone come unlock the gate when we arrived right away. We were the only ones there in the fenced area so it was peaceful, quiet, and private.

If a quite peaceful stop for a day or two is what you’re looking for this is the place in Holbrook to go! We stayed here as a rest stop leaving the forest fires a month ago on our way to Chicago and again on our way back home. The owner seems to be a stand up dude. We definitely will be back. We loved it

It was just a fenced parking lot, not particularly attractive. But the host was very nice, there was access to water that we filtered, it was conveniently located off the highway, and the highway wasn’t too loud at all. It would be great for sleeping in the car/campervans/RVs, not recommended for tent camping
