This campsite is nestled in the middle of the worlds largest Joshua Tree forest with 50 mile views down the valley to California. Mountains in every direction and sandy open space to set up your tent, trailer or whatever you're rolling with.
The site is on 40 acres and is extremely private. There is 1 acre cleared out for camping, including an elevated mound with panoramic views for incredible sunsets, sunrises & stargazing.
There is a picnic table and a very large fire pit with a grill, as well as an outhouse with a pit toilet (bring your own toilet paper). Other than that, there aren't any amenities here, so come prepared and bring plenty of water!
Lots of wildlife in the area - jackrabbits, roadrunners, chipmunks, lizards etc. You may hear coyotes howling. This is the middle of the desert, so please be mindful of potentially dangerous wildlife like snakes and scorpions... they are rare to encounter but are around.
Pets are very welcome, we just ask that you pick up after them if they go on the mound / cleared out camping area.
There is no garbage disposal, please take all of your trash and recyclables with you when you leave.
The campsite is 10 miles from a paved road, the dirt road can be sandy in spots, so you'll need to be mindful of that.
We only accept one booking at a time, this way you will have the whole property to yourself. You're welcome to explore the entire 40 acres.
The site is approximately 40 minutes to Lake Havasu City and 40 minutes to Kingman in the opposite direction. 20 mins to Area 66 UFO museum in Yucca. Saguaro covered mountains just down the road from the campsite.

Loved the place, serene and truly quiet. I’ll definitely be back!!!
Booked last minute and got there late, but it was a very peaceful way to spend the night. Well kept. Cool ambience. Lots of stars. Look forward to coming back for longer next time.
This place feels really secluded and off the beaten path. It's a ways on dirt roads but was well worth the drive (the scenery to get there wasn't half bad either - hello mountains!)
The campsite itself is super nice and colorful. The sky and the horizon go on for miles and miles. We saw a beautiful moonrise and a mindblowing sunset.
Also, the joshua trees had bloomed with fruit! And the cacti with roses - so pretty.
Would love to come back.

I was so grateful to have found Abi's place last minute. And she was super fast to respond and very accommodating. The property is BEAUTIFUL and I had the best time even though I was only there for one night. The outhouse is extremely well-done also. Absolutely no complaints- definitely hope to be able to stay here again sometime!

After 15 minutes of gravel roads, we arrived at a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. It was a little bit windy but the sunset was worth it. Abi puts a lot of love in details, as the outhouse and little lights all over the place. It was really nice!

Absolutely adored this spot! Abi was an incredible host, super responsive and helpful! The land itself is so serene and peaceful. The cute little string lights and decor added such a coziness to it as well!
I would absolutely come back. The best time to be in solitude and connected to nature! The sunset view is unreal!

Directions were very helpful and it was not too hard to find at night. the rain was a little rough for tent camping at first but it’s a great site when it clears up and is completely private
This is a great spot to feel fully immersed in the desert. The campground has 360 view of surrounding mountains along with vast forests of Joshua trees. We had a pull behind trailer and the roads leading to the site had quite a bit of washboard so be aware of that. The site had a very nice bathroom and fire pit. Overall, this is a beautiful place to camp for a night or two!

Fantastic hosts! I can't comment on the property, however, because my vehicle had issues and I never made it there. But, the hosts were very helpful and nice throughout the process. Due to the grid format of dirt roads in the surrounding area, there are a lot of options on which roads to take and I recommend discussing the best route with the host.
