Just 25 minutes from Holbrook and 1 mile from the Petrified Forest National Park boundary, we offer a single designated space for dry camping, with a camper or bring your own tent camping. We have 2.5 acres in the high desert. Our property borders state trust land that is inhabited by a herd of free range cattle, who can often be seen. To get here you will drive down an old section of Route 66.
We are home to a variety of livestock including horses, dogs, a lamb, and a pregnant burro. Other wildlife in the area include jackrabbits, pronghorn antelope, and lizards. If you are really lucky, you might even see a Jackalope.
Wake up to a beautiful Arizona sunrise and horses grazing. When there is no fire ban in place, the campsite has a fire ring. The campsite has a portable toilet available. However, you will need to pack out your waste.
We are pet friendly but, please keep animals on a leash and under control
- We are 420 friendly
- This is dry camping so bring your own water
- We ask guests haul away their waste
We are a small working ranch, so please be mindful and respectful to our animals by not entering their pens, feeding them, or touching them. We would be more than happy to introduce you to the animals if time allows or you wish to meet them.
