We have an 80 acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here! We have lots of chickens, a few turkeys, two goats (Phoebe & Mabel), two dogs-a pug named Bob and a three-legged Golden Pyrenees named Nymeria, and a desert tortoise named Miles. Ask us about our organic Medjool dates, farm tours, and farm fresh eggs! We have a nano-BREWERY and restaurant on-site, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April Thurs-Sun from 9am-Dusk. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. Please check out our website www.hightanks.com or Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hightanks for a schedule of events. Learn more about this land: Come shack up in our 1975 Vintage Trailer, stay in one of 16ft Glamping Tents, or bring your own RV/trailer/tent and experience camping nestled among the Date palms at the base of Gila Mountain. We offer Wi-Fi at the brewery but cannot guarantee a signal at your site. Explore the desert! There are many hiking trails in the area and even more places to take your ATVs. We are only a 10-minute drive from our sleepy little town of Wellton and a 35-minute drive from bustling Yuma. Be sure to check the listing carefully for details and feel free to ask questions. Maximum stays are limited to 7 nights.

DIXIE - Vintage Trailer
Well, the bed was comfortable...
The location of the trailer was not as directed (it was not on the west side of a building 35' from the gate). We drove around for several minutes before someone came out and directed us to the trailer. (Which we'd seen but weren't sure it was correct due to the directions provided.) It was a hot day in AZ, and the trailer was over 100 degrees when we opened it up. We think the windows should have been opened so it wouldn't have been so hot upon arrival. The listing says potable water available. We got into the trailer and tried to drink the water from the kitchen faucet but it tasted bad. We texted the host and asked about the potable water. We did not get a response for a few hours and went to bed. In the morning we saw that "available" meant the water was in a dispenser by the large building. This place offers music and dining on specific nights of the week. This was not one of them. That's probably for the best because the trailer was close to that area and it may have been too loud for us. The worst thing about this site was the lack of timely response regarding the water. Oh, and I didn't realize until I was booking it that there was a cleaning fee and a fee for the dog. Maybe I missed that in the listing or maybe it wasn't part of the listing. It drove the price up quite a bit. The trailer was cute and the bed was very comfortable. The shower flow was pretty weak.

Date Palm orchard a wonderful Spot
We spent 3 wonderful nights in the date palm orchard. It was close enough to small towns to visit and get groceries. The bathrooms were clean and updated.

Glamping Tent 4 - Sage & Sand
I really enjoyed glamping at Naked Dates in one of Misty’s tents! We brought our dogs and we all had a really great time hanging around the brewery and checking out the local trails. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

RV/Tent Site 1 - Dry Camping
Really cool backdrop, cute brewery/restaurant. The only negative is it’s a long dirt road to get to the farm and it made us a little nervous not having 4WD and towing our trailer it got a little bumpy. The place itself is great!
