Onsite property owners. HOT OUTDOOR SHOWER READY FOR 2021!

Petting Zoo available. We have baby goats, adult goats, chicks, kittens, puppies, a duck, etc... Weather permitting, we will bring the animals down to your site for an extra special experience while your here!

NEW FOR 2020! (shared between our 3 sites)

  • Two picnic tables. Just 3 sites currently, so they are shared.
  • Some really cool aesthetics!
  • Two large plastic barrel bins. For "small" trash & aluminum cans ONLY. (Please limit to small amounts of trash disposal on property. We must haul manually, thanks!)

If this site is booked, see our other sites, "Lonesome Dove", and "Pronghorn". All sites were planned equal in views and unique arrangements.

Welcome to nature's planetarium...

On clear nights, sleep under a wondrous view of the Milky Way and expansive stars! Then, awaken in the morning to the local songbirds and buzzing of the local hummingbirds. Bring a camera, as the sunset skies are always unique. The 2.3-acre property has plenty of Juniper and Pinon trees.

We are "pet friendly" as long as your pets are friendly too! We have medium/large family-oriented dogs kept inside or within a fenced area by our home. We have many critters here on our mini-farm as well.

(Tie outs or leashes required when outside of your tent or trailer, but we may make an exception for well-behaved pets.)

You can pick up a "few" last minute foods and drinks at the local Valle Travel Stop located 4.5 miles away. However, it's best to stock up on supplies prior to arrival.

Please notify us at least half an hour before arrival time if possible.

NOTE: Due to the majority of our guests coming and going to the canyon early in the morning, our latest check-in time is 8:00 PM

Please be mindful and courteous of our other campers. Our "quiet hours" are between 9 pm-6 am. (music, generators, barking dogs, etc.)

Thanks, and enjoy your stay!

The site was nice for a night on the way to the Grand Canyon NP! The toilet and shower was a nice feature since there is a lot of wind and sand on site. Past the site there is a nice unpaved road to walk on with good views. Andrew was very helpful and answered any questions we had and he seems very excited in improving the current sites on his property.

This is a really great campsite, not too far from the Grand Canyon's south entrance. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they are quick to respond and get you anything you need. There are only a few campsites so it feels very private, and the hosts have done a lot of work to provide a good campground (e.g. showers, bathroom, chairs, tables, warming zone, etc). Highly recommend for future campers looking for a home base for the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area

Great hosts! Excellent communication. Sites are remote and rustic, just the way we like it. Excellent stargazing at night, too.

We had a great time camping here. The hot shower was so nice after long days hiking at the Grand Canyon, and the propane grill was super easy to cook on. Andrew was a wonderful host - we had another camper approach our tent in the middle of the night and give us a scare (by accident!), and when we reached out to him, he immediately came to our tent, took our concern seriously, and made us feel safe and secure. There were enough trees around to shelter from the wind and to hang a laundry line, and we would have been able to mount a tarp in case of rain.

This is the place to go if you want wide open space and to gaze at the stars in the dark night. Off the beaten track but less than an hour drive to Grand Canyon and not too far from Flagstaff. Andrew was a great host, very friendly and willing to help with whatever needed. A compost toilet and outdoor shower to share with other guests nearby. Rustic but meets the needs. Fire pits available along with lounge chairs which was a bonus for sleeping on!

Suzanne was so response to all my many questions leading up to my stay. The road leading into the site was a little rough, but even my small car with low-profile tires was fine with taking it slow. I spent the majority of my time away from camp but my two nights there were peaceful and quiet - except for the beautiful howling of coyotes in the background which I found relaxing. I’m a huge astronomy geek and the star gazing here is PHENOMENAL. They were very accommodating hosts, explained all of the camp workings very accurately and It was so interesting to hear about some of their off-grid living techniques. Another note - I had very intermittent cell/data coverage (Verizon) but that was a plus to me. I go camping like this to get away from all this. I would stay here again.

had a wonderful weekend at the campsite! suzanne's family was very welcoming and it was a great slice of nature away from the grand canyon tourist area but still within a reasonable driving distance (about 30 minutes directly north). a really prime location for your grand canyon trip. about 10 minutes down the road from a gas station/convenience store and about 20 minutes from a town (williams) with all the amenities if you forgot anything. thank you!
