If you like desert terrain and enjoy watching desert wildlife this is the spot for you. plenty of desert Hares, Javalina, Desert Deer, reptiles, and all sorts of animals cross this plot on a regular basis. Plenty of Yucca and Juniper trees around to marvel at also. The campsite is ~40 minutes away from Lake Alamo by way of Alamo road, which has good fishing and boating opportunities. There is a boat launch point on the north side of the lake you can use. Plenty of backroads to cruise, and areas in the valley allow off roading in Quads and dirtbikes. The valley and surrounding mountains were mined at one time for Silver and Copper so you might find some old mines and artifacts if you explore the surrounding area also. The nearest town is 20 miles away and on clear nights the stars light up the sky like you wont see in any populated areas.
