Enjoy an incredible view of the majestic San Francisco Peaks across wide-open native prairie.  By day, watch for grazing pronghorn antelope, and at night, enjoy our incredible stargazing.  Conveniently located between Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, our 20 acres are just a few miles from I-40.

Your campsite is located behind our home...not too far out in the wild, but you'll have unobstructed views, and enough space and distance for privacy.  And, while you are welcome to go straight to your campsite for "contact-free" check-in, we will be available to greet you and answer questions as needed!

Our small neighborhood is completely surrounded by public land, and you can follow the path from your campsite right out to explore the wide open prairie.  If you prefer the cool ponderosa pine forest, public forest roads are just a few minutes away by foot, bike, or car.

If you want to explore further, the Kaibab National Forest has loads of hiking trails and roads within easy reach.  You can visit some of the small lakes or canyons, and watch for a variety of wildlife, including pronghorn antelope, elk, mule deer, coyotes, porcupines, and a huge variety of birds.

Two of the nicest and most accommodating hosts you'll ever meet! Beautiful view from the campsite and super quiet. My dog loved getting to run around and chase the ball.

Wow! What's not to love about gracious hosts, sprawling views, and fresh eggs for breakfast! I had a lovely stay at Ross and Kara's property. Their campsite looks out over the grasslands towards the San Francisco Peaks and was easily accessible on gravel roads just south of the highway. Ross and Kara are warm and welcoming and I felt right at home as soon as I pulled in. Definitely don't pass up the fresh eggs from their chickens when you stay... delicious! I'll be back for sure!

Ross and Kara were super friendly and helpful! Gave us very specific easy-to-follow directions. Checked in on us, even gave us gluten free cookies! The site had breath-taking views and very peaceful. A great (affordable) overnight stop for any trip. Thank you Ross and Kara for being gracious hosts!

Excellent hosts and communication! We did not actually end up staying here, but I wanted to leave a positive review for the hosts. Ross and Kara messaged me that the site was too muddy and wet for our camper, due to unexpected heavy snow followed by a quick melt. They let us know with plenty of time to find another place to stay, and even offered to let us camp in their driveway! We will definitely use this camp again!

Staying at Ross and Kara’s campsite was amazing! The directions provided are very easy to follow to get to the camp site. Kara greeted us as we pulled in with blankets, pillows, and homemade chocolate chip cookies! The cookies were delightful and were even gluten free! My wife has a severe gluten allergy so she was very excited:) The site is amazing and very spacious. At night sitting out under the stars was tremendous. What a view, and we were even lucky enough to see a shooting star on our first night there. On our way out, Ross filled up our water tank on our rig and gave us a full tank so we could continue on to our next campsite and the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend staying with Ross and Kara! Thank you for your unbelievable hospitality and for sharing your property with us:)
