Young Pine and Spruce Forest

We have a secluded camping spot in the back of our farm, where you can pitch your tent or park your campervan away from any activity. Located about an hour north of Edmonton in central Alberta, our camping area is nestled in a small field of young mixed conifers and natural grasses and has excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities. Two campsites hold up to four guests each. Pets are welcome. Strathcona Science Provincial Park, Long Lake Provincial Park, and Half Moon Lake are each within one hour of the property.

Small campfires only are allowed – this area is not intended for bonfires. The property includes a composting toilet and potable water. For those bringing campervans, the back-in site can accommodate a maximum length of 10 feet. Levelling is required on the grassy surface. 

The closest groceries and services can be found about 20 km away in the town of Redwater. For swimming and boating, head to Long Lake Provincial Park about 75 km to the northeast, or check out Half Moon Lake, about 80 km south just outside Edmonton. Also in Edmonton, Strathcona Science Provincial Park offers hiking and biking.
