Currently, a work in progress, but so far I have 4 sites, 2 of which have decks that overlook the lake, giving you a unique camping experience with a beautiful view.
The property is also a Bison farm and tours are available. Currently, I am mothering an orphan calf, so a baby buffalo may wander over and say hello.
Adjoining the property, there is an 18 hole golf course and a bird observatory within walking distance.
Points of interest nearby include Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park. This is a landscape of contrasts. The southern end of the park consists of storm beaches, beach ridges and blowout dunes behind which are a series of marshes and wetlands. It is one of Canada's northernmost bird observatories and is one of the only boreal forest bird observatories in the world.
Activities nearby include fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, swimming, and so much more!
Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

We had a wonderful time at Garrett’s site. We booked the site with the single large deck, as it had more space for us. The site had a beautiful view of Lesser Slave Lake. The path down to the lake was steeper, longer, and more rugged than we expected - bring sandals/shoes with a little extra tread if you plan to trek down to the water. The lakeside was beautiful (worth the trek) and is even more breathtaking at sunset.
I’d bring enough water for your trip; while there’s potable water, the tap is at the side of a cabin. The tap was handy, it just would have been easier if we’d brought an extra container.
The site was quiet, peaceful, and just what we were looking for. Garrett was exceptionally responsive, answering all our questions very quickly. I would, and have already, recommended this spot to friends looking for a serene lakeside spot.

Beautiful views, very quiet and relaxing.
Garrett was extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this site to any one who wants away from the typical over crowded camp sites.

Absolutely loved this place. Garrett was so accommodating and made sure we had the best site for our group. He even dropped off wood at our site so it was ready when we arrived. Everything is well taken care of, the campground was super peaceful, the view of the lake from our site was amazing and we loved having campfires on the beach every night. One of the best spots I've camped in Alberta for sure.

What a diamond! The spot was beyond what we could have asked for, and Garrett was above hospitable . We have already made plans to return this season . Highly recommend
Garrets land is incredible! Amazing views from the personal decks in each campsite overlooking your private beach. The host is a great guy who genuinely cares about his guests. The bison calf wandering into your camp occasionally to graze is a real treat. Beaches are rocky so I recommend bringing some type of water shoes if you plan on enjoying the lake. For a work in progress camp site it is very well done, we'll be back for sure.
