I was in a group of 8 and stayed for Labor day weekend. Parksland Yoga Retreat was honestly exactly what we all needed, we had a lovely time. Here you will find stunning views, swimming holes and creeks, and enjoyable hikes. Dustin was very patient and kind in answering my hundreds of questions. He is really friendly and warm. Dustin and his family & friends built a lovely off the grid home/yoga retreat, including an outdoor shower and pit toilet. I really valued and appreciated the environmental practices exercised here.

When you arrive you park up near his home and hike about 1/8th of a mile (like 300 steps if you are short like me) to the private campsite. Keep in mind, it's a fairly steep incline on the way back up, but that is just motivation to pack light and enjoy the ride. It is absolutely worth it though. Seriously, it's like this place is radiating magic. There is a creek that swings around the site which you can swim in. Dustin provides recycling and a trash can, which is nice. The toilet and shower are up the hill, but do yourself a favor and make the hike. That toilet and shower were highlights of my year. No joke.

The area around the site is good for hiking. Must visit the Blue Hole, which is just down the road (like 1 mile away). It's a great swimming hole with a beach, deep water, and plenty of jumping off points. We had an amazing time at Parksland. Dustin and his friends and family are so nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was my first time using Hip Camp, and it couldn’t have been a more lovely experience. Dustin & Mandy were wonderful — welcoming, kind & accommodating. I stayed at site #1, and it was just dreamy. I just wish I could have stayed
more than one night!

Incredible place! We stayed at Site 1 and loved the private space with the nearby creek. It was well kept and the trails well marked. We made our way over to the nearby private swimming hole for the day- definitely recommend. The hosts, Dustin and Mandy, couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. They made our stay awesome. A really cool first hipcamp experience!

The swimming hole across the way. Cooling off in the creek. Our set up!The creek surrounding our site.

This was a truly unique place to visit. We learned a lot from our time at Parksland Retreat and those residing there in our short stay. The land itself is beautiful, close to swimming holes and streams. Also a great spot for anyone interested in ecoconsious living. Got to check it out yourself! The hosts will treat you with much warmth...thank you Dustin and Mandy :)

I had a fantastic stay at Parksland! The site was absolutely beautiful, right by a stream and surrounded by trees so it was very quiet and private. The whole camp was very peaceful and it felt like I was truly in nature (while still having desirable amenities such as a shower and bathroom). There were plenty of hiking trails at the camp and also several longer ones within a 15 minute drive. I would absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful, secluded camping in a magical location. The swimming hole was the BEST. Super chill hosts and all of the amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely recommend to friends.
