I enjoyed staying here, and John was very helpful. I arrived late in the evening and he had even set up fire wood that was ready to light, which was definitely appreciated after a long day! The bathroom was clean and heated, and the site itself was somewhat set back into the woods, with some privacy from the other sites.
John’s campground was the first stop on my cross country road trip. When we arrived he rode over on his tractor to greet us. He chopped firewood, turned on the fairy lights that bordered the site, and directed us to a creek spot down the road where we watched the sun set. He was extremely kind and hospitable and let us know he was available if we needed anything at all. He even saw us off when we left early the next morning! His land was very private and as two gals we felt completely safe. The bathrooms, laundry, and shower were great and super clean. It was such a sweet experience and really set our trip off to a great start!
John and his wife were amazing host to me. I got a tour of the campsite and he took me out kayaking on the creek. I’ve never been to a campsite where I felt as welcomed as I did here.
This was such an awesome stay! We got in late in the evening, but John had some firewood set up for us and some lights on around our camp site and the restrooms. He also had some heaters set up in the restroom which was greatly appreciated! The property is super interesting and the care and effort put inti it is phenomenal. We're already looking forward to going back!
Great spot, easy to find, and very relaxing. John is a great host and has made the camp very welcoming and comfortable. All of the sites are spacious and well spaced out, but none of them are too far from his super cool silo complex that houses a bathroom, a bathroom/shower, and a laundry room. He is working on a fourth currently that will be a combo indoor/outdoor shower silo. John was super friendly but allows campers to have their privacy which was a wonderful balance. We would definitely go back if we wander that way again!

Well kept property. Flush toilet, shower, and laundry makes one a happy camper!! Electricity on site and John was great enough to supply firewood! Only 3 miles or so from Talladega if you're a Nascar fan! A few bugs and critters but that's what camping is about! Only complaint was road noise and guns being shot at neighboring property.
We really enjoyed our stay and the site and land are lovely! The creek has an access spot about a ten minute walk across the road. We
enjoyed meeting John who is the owner and care taker. A wonderful spot. There is a bathroom with a
Shower and laundry in the middle of the campground . Would highly recommend it and hope to visit again soon!
This is a really great campground. Beautiful property with all the amenities for renters or rvers. John is also a wonderful host. I highly recommend his campground.
