Great camping spot! The sites are lovely and the facilities are some of the best I’ve experienced at any campground. John was helpful and friendly! I would absolutely camp here again.
Tent site #2
John has a great setup for camping. I stayed at Tent Site #2 and it was very shaded, has electricity, and is flat. The bathrooms and showers were clean and are a very creative use of the old silos. I would definitely stay here again. 5 out of 5.
Pictures don't do it justice. Stayed at tent campsite 2 and it was wonderful :-) completely shaded with ample space for 12 man tent and a great fire pit, chill area. Furthermore, the silos containing the shower, bathroom and washer/dryer were very well designed, very comfortable and very cool. I wanted to upload my own pictures but couldn't figure out how to on hipcamp platform. My trip was centered around cold water mountain bike trail. The trail head is 20 minutes away and the camp area is 13 minutes from the trail pickup
The toilets were the cleanest toilets I have ever seen. We camp all over the country, Clean, clean, clean… my wife loved it. This makes a big difference when you are tent camping. There is a super friendly small goat walking around, my boys loved it… they nick named the goat Fred.
We stayed for a MTB race in Coldwater. We will definitely stay again.
Nice place. good guy.
Private tent area. Plenty of shade. Nice, clean bathrooms & shower. Beautiful, creative workmanship! Laundry, dumpster on site. John is very nice guy.
We love camping on john’s land! It’s clean, quiet, relaxing, and there’s lots to do! John goes above and beyond keeping his space clean and campable. We love it here! The dogs do too!
