Blackwater Falls Campground is located in one of the most desirable places for nature-viewing and photographing in all of West Virginia, notably for the spectacular falls flowing through eight scenic miles of gorge. Because you can’t see it all in one day, the two-loop campground provides a direct route to area trails, and lodging and cabins are available as well. Weather permitting, visitors can ski, sled, boat, swim, fish and picnic in this beautiful slice of nature.

Loved blackwater falls state park. Due to leafpeeper festival in Davis, the campground got crowded but the non electric sites were beautiful.,, we have an rv, but I don't like too close of spots, so we boondocked on non electric. The park is gorgeous. We did not have an an additional car, so we hiked a lot. FYI, Davis is about 4 miles one way on the trail. Can't wait to go back.
