Description
Not all of us can afford a lake house, but Mountain Lake camp in Moran State Park will let you fake it for the weekend. The camp is just one mile up Mount Constitution Road on the shores of Mountain Lake, the largest lake in the park; there are also 15 primitive campsites for bikers and walkers. Soak up panoramic views of surrounding islands and cities at the observation tower atop Mt. Constitution and return home for endless boating, fishing, biking and hiking.

Reserved a lake side spot for my husband's birthday and was amazed at the peaceful site we booked. There are several trailheads nearby, and facilities when in season. We enjoyed our stay very much and the lake itself was GORGEOUS.
