Daisy is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Nestled in the breathtaking Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia, , hens, ducks, bees, Great Pyrenees, and cats pastorally roam over 18 acres of rolling farmland and forest. Experience our favorite parts of Stormbrew Farm through a primitive camping experience.  Learn more about this land: An agrarian dream- a literal field of possibility. With 18 acres to choose from you may find yourself sleeping along the lazy Fifteenmile Creek, atop a hill under Virginia stars, or even set up with pastoral views of hens and Great Pyrenees dogs. The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm. One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching. South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away. For a drink by the water, head to Abingdon Vineyards- only 10 minutes away. Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus. We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

Streamside Tent Deck
Very nice area right by a stream. We really appreciated the elevated tent deck to help keep the tent off the ground during the rain. We also loved seeing the farm cats around!

Streamside Glamping
We stayed in the glamping cabin and had a great time there! The grounds are beautiful and quiet and we loved having visits by the dog and cat. There is a nice porch on the cabin where we could set up some of our equipment and we brought our own chairs for the fire pit, which was great on a chilly night. The cabin itself is not insulated nor has any heat or electricity so keep that in mind when you are planning your visit.

Highly suggest this stay!!
My boyfriend and I stayed on Daisy’s lot for a Saturday night while on a road trip. It was one of our favorite stays on our trip. The land was absolutely gorgeous. They have a greenhouse, gardens, and a family run barn. The barn hosts events such as brunch, flower picking, tasting and SO MUCH more. They also have a variety of home made items you could purchase like herb butter, deviled eggs etc (which were very yummy). Even if you don’t stay here (which I suggest you do), you should definitely check out their website. Our hosts provided the warmest hospitality we’ve ever experienced. The owner let us watch March madness while drinking their homemade IPA. On site, the bathroom in the barn is open overnight which was super nice. The property backs up to a stream. The family was super super friendly and accommodating. I highly suggest staying if you’re in the area!

Streamside Tent Site
Even though the property is right off the road, the tent site felt very private. All of the friendly cats and Percy the dog were an added bonus!

Unique Tranquil Setting
I really enjoyed camping at Stormbrew. The setting was unique, situated at the back of the farm looking over their stream. The cows and crickets mixed with the sounds of the babbling stream just enhanced the already tranquil setting. I imagine this would be even better in the warmer months.

most lovely
Easy entry…laid back and absolutely beautiful place. Despite the stellar elevation change, the ground is firm after an entire night of rain. Subaru…up and out…no sweat. This place has soul and true richness. I was so grateful to get a night there.
