Jervis Bay Hideaway- Power & Water
in Jervis Bay Hideaway - Tent site only, New South WalesExcellent site with wonderful hosts
What a fantastic stay!! We could not recommend this place to everyone enough.
On arrival - sites are clearly marked. Steve will help to direct you in to the site and provide any assistance required.
We had a beautiful grass frontage which was great for the kids. Extended our stay and moved under the trees which was also lovely!
Beautiful sites with heaps of space, access to power and water as required.
Hosts are fantastic, friendly, super helpful and great with the kids!
Location is a great option to access Jervis Bay without having to squish in to a van park.
Plenty for kids to do - totem tennis was a hit, trampoline and swings as well as some local wildlife.
If we lived closer we would be back for sure!
Tomakin River Camping
in Tomakin River Camping, New South WalesBeautiful riverside campsite!
What a wonderful location and property! The sites are clearly marked and directions provided very clear.
Hosts were wonderful and helpful.
Beautiful location to access local attractions.
We enjoyed swimming in the swimming hole and fishing in the river.
Neighbours enjoy some clay pigeon shooting. Sounds closer then it is and doesn’t last long. (Not enough to worry us once kids knew what it was!)
Road in is a little rough, but our 21ft caravan made it through fine.
All in all a great stay and would happily stay again :)
Eco Camping Sites
in Meralda Station Cobar, New South WalesStay was not as described
Lovely host. Fire pits provided. This would be a good place for a stopover.
Location is a paddock covered in very hard thistles. Making it difficult to move around and not then fill caravan in thistles. Kids unable to play outside with balls/run etc due to thistles.
Location is described as a station - no stock or animals seen from camping area. Campers told not to leave paddock area. (So may have had some elsewhere)
Lots of additional extras you can pay for.
This location was not what we were expecting from the description. Please read reviews further down the page for more accurate information.
