If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This was my and my families 2nd glamping trip of what will be many many many more. I am so happy that the trend continues of a very successful trip. Another 5 starts of 5 stars.
Communication: Communication is very big with me and both Rick and Bernadette were very communicative prior to and during my trip. Extremely polite and accomodating.
Knowledgable: I also like how they know and understand the area as well as their campgrounds so they can let novices (like me) know where to and not to go.
Flexible: Rick and Bernadette were very flexible in the rental times for our kayaking and boating and I truly appreciate that.
The place is beautiful and literally, everything is right there and your fingertips. We will definitely be staying here again and look forward to it.
Sufficient cabins and great hosts!
Rick and Bernadette both are very friendly and accommodating hosts. They don’t bother you during your stay and they’re very speedy in answering messages or texts with any questions before and during the stay. We had everything we needed. Our boys had a WONDERFUL time boating and playing. Thank you both!
May not come back again
Campsite was far smaller than expected. The cabins are so close to each other we cannot enjoy the night without overhearing other people in other cabins.
The part of lake it located is super super shallow even a bird can stand on the water. So not good for fishing.
All cabins were facing a major road which is quite loud during the day.
Be prepared to bring cash for deposit or rental or firewood, otherwise you will need to wait days for the deposit to come back on your card as the owner said.
Owner is super welcoming and friendly and helpful. But too much interaction during the stay, kinda ruin the privacy environment we were seeking for a gateway.
The bathroom was recently renovated and awesome! But we could not find coffee in our cabin, have to share with the second cabin we rented.
Overall this place is good, tho lots of thing not expected but it is super close to town and good for kids and family. Not ideal if you are looking for a quite Forest/lake campsite experience.
