Description

Situated within the city limits of Memphis, T.O. Fuller State Park Campground is full of surprises. In 1940, when the CCC was excavating for a swimming pool, they found evidence of a prehistoric village. Today you can visit a recreated Chucalissa Village along with a modern museum that displays the archaeological excavations. In addition to the history lesson, you’ll also find fabulous views of the Mississippi, miles of hiking trails, and a beautiful campground nestled in the hardwood forest.
