I live in a top floor Glasgow flat with 3 other people. They're all lovely, but I definitely craved peace & quiet, with birdsong and open spaces, and also no crowds, traffic, helicopters, shops, queues or shouting!
The pitch I booked is perfect. Open views, completely secluded, a fireplace, sunshine, and next to a field of lovely cows. There are lots of beautiful beaches and other places to explore nearby.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. Campsite facilities are clean and nice.

We stayed at North Rhinns for a couple of nights. The campsite is fantastic. The pitches are well spaced out, isolated and sheltered. The pitches along the field (6, 10 & 12 I think), really provide a 'wild camp' feel, sheltered by trees and looking out into the countryside. Will definitely be back.
