We enjoyed camping here and wished it was for more than one night.
The little ‘bathroom’ with flushing toilet and shower was great.
There is plenty of space and shady areas.
Curious cattle and big kangaroos in neighbouring paddocks were a bonus.
Best spot ever
This is one of the best Hipcamp sites we’ve ever stayed at - perfect flat ground and wonderful hosts. Genuinely 20 mins to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast or to Australia Zoo or just a nice spot to sit down and relax.
Not a good experience. Unfortunately you have to drive to the dam as it’s on the other side of the property. We assumed it was within walking distance of the campsite. It was the main thing my 4 kids were looking forward to, so we just went to Gardeners Falls instead. Because checkin was at 10am and checkout was at 2pm we had to clean the rubbish around the campsite, clean out the fire pits that had rubbish you couldn’t burn, as well as clean the toilet and shower before we used it. I don’t know if this is the owners responsibility or the campers? If checkout was 10am and check in was 2pm it would give the hosts 4hrs to clean up. As campers though, it’s basic courtesy leave the site better than you found it (which we did).
