This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy! This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. Lost Coast Adventure Camp
Probably better in the summer.
The photos all made this site look pretty spectacular, and I can extend some grace because we camped at the end of March - probably not the peak of their upkeep season. Alas, we were bummed. The site seemed pretty trashed. There was garbage and tools/maintenance stuff laying all around in the campsite. We’d be open to trying this again in the summer with the hope that it is a magical, beachy little forest retreat.

Great spot
Great little spot with great welcoming staff. Small but mighty. Good people. Great spot. Watch your step on the stairs as they’re steep. 10/10 if you’re camping solo.

Nice spot with big trees
Shaded area in grove of tall trees with lots of good flat spots to pitch a tent. A little noisy with traffic during the day but gets quiet at night. Close to everything in Florence

This place is great! While it is right off the highway, it gets super quiet in the evenings and is totally tolerable the rest of the time. Excited to see what it becomes!

Convenient location
It’s a convenient location and a great space. The traffic is super loud, but quiets down at night.

Great site, right off the 101. Easy for an overnight before getting back on the road.
