La Nation Bedrock Camp
Wonderful host, beautiful sites!
Hipcamp gave us slightly wrong coordinates but the host Gerry was great and came out to find us and show us the grounds! The woods and river are beautiful, and the bedrock is an amazing and peaceful spot. We were the only ones there for the night and got to pick our favourite site, highly recommend the hilltop site where the rivers meet (4 I think). This spot had a nice fire pit, a large area for tent setup, and two picnic tables. Saw herons, swallows, wild turkeys. We love this site and will definitely be back soon!

Great spot great views
We loved camping here! The host was super helpful and gave us a great tour of the site. Beautiful place to camp and we will definitely come back!

What a dissapointment!
When we arrived, we couldn’t find the entrance of the campsite. We followed the instructions on google maps. The campsite wasn’t made accesible (snow). We were also not informed by the inaccesibility by the owner in advance. We tried to reach the owner (by telephone and by email) but up to today, we got no response. We had to find a solution so we went to a motel. Unfortunately it was a very bad start of our roadtrip through Eastern Canada.

Amazing Fall camping experience
We stayed here for a fall camp this past week and had an incredible time. Gerry met us as we arrived, showed us all the sites and let us choose our favourite. It was along the river with a beautiful view and drive up access.
He lit tiki torches and lamps all through our site and brought us wood we purchased right up to the fire. The property was lit with beautiful solar lights which was quite magical at night.
Gerry is super passionate about what he does there and I would highly recommend checking out the space. Will likely be back.

La Nation Bedrock Camp
We had another amazing trip! The fall colors were amazing and Gerry provided plenty of firewood to keep us warm. And the wildlife was just amazing. Hundreds of geeze stopping by on the flights south, dozens of otters playing in the river and we even caught some fish to cook over the fire. It was a great experience all around!
