You can enjoy 14 miles of hiking trails or 40 miles of equestrian trails, through blackjack oak forests, with awesome views from the rocky ledges high above the lake. After a long day running around, spread out on the sandy beach or take a dip in the cool lake waters. Don’t forget the s’mores for later!

Beautiful campground, However the equestrian camp sites Do Not include the horse stalls located at each site even though you reserve the site the stalls are up for anyone to use! This isn't anywhere on the website, nor the email confirmation you get with your reservation and when you call them they won't know what you're talking about. Be aware anyone can put their horses in the stalls at any camp site, those are not yours even though you reserved the camp site where they are located. A reservation doesn't guarantee a place for your horses. The trails are perfect for unshod horses, all sand.
